I can't be the only one who was an Ernest mark when I was younger. Don't think I ever saw the show, but I loved all the movies.

So was I the only one? Or did anyone else enjoy the awesomeness of Jim Varney?

They ruled. Jim Varney was the man (Shame about his death, I only actually found out recently).

My faves were Ernest goes to camp, Ernest Scared Stupid and the one with the trainers... Oh, and the school one where he becomes really smart. :rofl:

I've got them all taped somewhere, I need to find 'em sometime.

My favorite scene from all of them has to be the Electromagnetism scene from Ernest goes to Jail. Pretty LOL.

And yeah, it is a shame that that Jim died. He was so great. Just read he was filming another movie when he died.

The only Ernest movie I didn't like was Ernest Saves Christmas (of course I haven't seen it since I was little so who knows how my opinion would differ now). The rest were awesome. Ernest Goes to Jail was always my favourite though.

Oh, but Ernest Scared Stupid gave me nightmares when I was smaller and to this day I am afraid to watch it.

He died whilst in the middle of filming "Ernest the Pirate" I think. (Can't remember now, think that's what I read).

Also the one with that big cannon, can't remember what it was called. Ernest had that crown stuck on his head and the guy was shooting at him, and all we see is Ernest's crown dodging bullets. :rofl:

I loved Ernest Scared Stupid. And the basketball one too.

I loved Ernest. Goes to Jail was my favorite. I think there was also Goes to Africa and Slam Dunk Ernest, which had to have been terrible.

Ernert Goes To Jail, Ernest Scared Stupid and Ernest Goes To Camp were the good ones.

Ernest Scared Stupid was the one with the monsters that were killed by milk, right?

I work at Family Video and we can pick movies to watch. Other day I put in Ernest Scared Stupid, everyone kept commenting on how great Ernest was.

Apparently some dick is using the Ernest name for new commercials. Really horrible rip-off. :nono:

Apparently it is by the advertising agency dudes who created Ernest in the first place.

Didn't know it was by the same company, but still, Jim Varney was the only Ernest.

I think watching Ernest get shocked in the electric chair in Ernest Goes to Jail really scarred me for life as a little kid. I still have nightmares about it every now and then.

BTW, Ernest is the man. Besides the scarring me for life bit.
