Better Wrestler

Paul London made a shocking upset when he took down IWC favorite AJ "faggot" Styles. Can our longest reining champion keep his streak alive? We'll see as Paul London defends against ECW "legend" The King of Old School Steve Corino.

So, who's the better wrestler? Paul London or Steve Corino?

Current champion: Paul London 2 defenses (Kane, AJ Stlyes)
Former champion: Charlie Haas 1 defense (Eric Young)

Also WWKD?: Haas only had one defense, it took him two tries to win the title. (Cause he's gay.)

Testicle 01-21-2007 07:26 PM

King of Old School

Crippla 01-21-2007 07:29 PM

I'd say Corino.

What Would Kevin Do? 01-21-2007 07:41 PM

Steve "Haas" Corino.

Xero 01-21-2007 07:49 PM

Charlie "Steve" Haas.

El Fangel 01-21-2007 07:57 PM

London for the win?

Caged Heat18 01-21-2007 08:25 PM

London.

This is tough, as they are two completely different kinds of wrestler. I think Paul London is the more flexible in the ring. I mean, Corino is fucking awesome, but I think London can play his game, as well as many others. Corino would probably have the edge in the promo department, but London hasn't really been given a chance. Every time I've heard him talk he sounds like he could cut something meaningful, and he's completely comfortable on the mic.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Paul London at full capacity is probably better than Steve Corino at full capacity, so London gets my vote.

By the way, Destor, good job for making these difficult. :y:

Crippla 01-21-2007 09:06 PM

Wow, tied up.

El Fangel 01-21-2007 09:08 PM

I wonder who will eventually be the reigning champ?

Destor 01-21-2007 09:13 PM

Yeah some will be bunnies. Me testing a guys popularity, and others (once their defenses get higher,) will be harder. This one was cause by the fact Corino is in the "news" so he was on my mind I guess. This one might have a hot finish. Plenty of time left, as always 24 hour time limit for title matches.

I picked Corino. London hasn't proved to be as versitile as Corino. Paul does what he's good at, and I can respect that. But Corino can do most of anything and excell at it in wrestling. So he goes over London for that.

Skippord 01-21-2007 09:18 PM

Paul London

Destor 01-21-2007 09:21 PM

Corino has taken the lead Skip. You achieved NOTHING.

Crippla 01-21-2007 09:28 PM

7-6 still pretty close. Didn't expect this to be open and shut though.

El Fangel 01-21-2007 09:32 PM

I think london will win, wonder who the next challenger will be.

The One 01-21-2007 11:12 PM

Corino, because he is good and London is not.

Yeah, his 2/3 Falls Match with Bryan Danielson and Street Fight with Michael Shane were just plain awful. Plus the Ladder Match at Armageddon was the most boring thing since TLC 3 with Edge & Christian, The Hardys, The Dudleys and Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit.

Some of us don't jerk off to undercard workers and proclaim them as gods.

Did anyone else think that sounded weird comming from the biggest Billy Gunn mark in TPWW history?

The Ravishing One 01-22-2007 01:00 PM

London

Not as weird if you had said "Hoss workers" coming from a "Kevin Nash mark".

Destor 01-22-2007 05:51 PM

One vote will tie this up. About one hour left in the 24 hour time limit.

Caged Heat18 01-22-2007 06:57 PM

What a great race this is. Come on someone vote for London.

Destor 01-22-2007 06:58 PM

15 minutes!

Avenger 01-22-2007 07:04 PM

Fuck this is tight.

Paul London

Destor 01-22-2007 07:07 PM

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

The Ravishing One 01-22-2007 07:08 PM

lol

Destor 01-22-2007 07:10 PM

SOMEONE BREAK THE TIE!

Crippla 01-22-2007 07:11 PM

Tied up.

The One 01-22-2007 07:13 PM

How is this even close? Further proof that Corino is one of the most underappreciated workers ever.

That or proof you all have been drinking Alienoid's KoolAid

The Ravishing One 01-22-2007 07:13 PM

Oi ChiefStubbs, stop checking out just Diva threads and post your opinion.

Caged Heat18 01-22-2007 07:15 PM

What happens if their is a tie?

Destor 01-22-2007 07:17 PM

London retains. Champions advantage, he must be beaten. Though like the first tie (Haas v someone, cant remember,) he'll get a rematch under triple threat rules. I'll add a guy until a winner is determined.

A tie WILL count as a defense for London.

Destor 01-22-2007 07:21 PM

And it's over. DRAW. London retains. Fuck'n hell.

Crippla 01-22-2007 07:21 PM

Haas vs. Yang was the first tie btw. I like London but I just like Corino better.

Avenger 01-22-2007 07:40 PM

fix

Oh typical, ChiefStubbs is offline. He's had his "5 minutes" of thread browsing.

Start another Diva thread Destor and he'll been in there quicker than a CC reply.

I'm confused. What about ChiefStubbs?

The Ravishing One 01-22-2007 08:05 PM

Don't worry.
