Greatest Top Turnbuckle Move
The only reason why I'm posting this thread is the time.
The greatest top turnbuckle move is the FourFifty. |
GOD DAMN IT! ONE FUCKING MINUTE OFF FROM 4:50 WEST COAST TIME!!!!
And the shooting star press is better, anyways. |
Swan Press from the Fire Pro Wrestling games
The Van-Terminator had it's moments.
7:51 AM.
The Ass Punch, of course.
Phoenix Splash.
Brock Lesnars fucked up shooting star
The 630 is pretty fucking awesome when done right. RVD's frog splash, and HBK's elbow also rank high for me. Also Cima's somersault van terminator.
Was(/is?) Kennedy's lambo leap a top rope move or a second rope move?
I always liked when Angle was laying down and his opponent was climbing the turnbuckle, he just springs up and gives either a belly to belly suplex or Angle Slam from the top.
Also gotta put Macho Man's Elbow Drop up there as well. |

Move at 2:20 (Some sort of inverted 450 splash?) The Move at 2:05 is also coo. (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) |
Scorpio Splash.
Macho Man's Flying Elbow Drop. Marked out everytime I saw it as a kid.
Also, Chris Beniot and Dynamite Kid's Flying Headbutt.
I always liked the shooting star press, and also like Angle's moonsault.

I always kinda liked the somersault leg drop.
I love Hardy's Swantop. Sean O haire's was sweet too. But Macho Man's Elbow and the Shooting Star Press are my favs.
Macho Mans elbow.
Hate the flying headbutt. But I'm going to say the best is something sick like a powerbomb or piledriver. |

Ah, that's THE move that got me hooked into wrestling! |
Kid Kash's hurricanrana reversal of a powerbomb
Toss up between Michaels and Savage's elbow drop. Best move lately though is Daniels' BME.
Benoit's Flying Headbutt or the 5 Star Frog Splash.
To you guys who say Flying Headbutt please tell me why. I dont' get it. It's like the fakest top rope move. Why would you ram your head into some dudes shoulder?

I couldn't remember what a lambo leap was, sorry. |
what exactly does a flying corkscrewish move do? LIke a monsault with a corkscrew? Is it supposed to make you go faster or someshit?
If he means the flipping fireman's carry, that's from the second rope.
I've always carried something special inside for the 450 splash and SSP. I also went crazy when I saw the Frankensteiner off the top rope.
Ric Flair's. Less is more.

Also gonna throw the Vader Bomb out there.

"Off the ropes with a flying leg kick"

I'm a fan of the more "difficult" moves, so the inside shooting star or 450 or a corkscrew moonsault are always cool.
Combo moves are totally mark out material. I've thought of the idea of a SSP into a DDT before, but I've never actually seen it done till now (that one was a bit sloppy, but level of difficulty makes it forgivable). Actually, you can probably just flip forwards and then hit the DDT for a safer version of the move. But I'm a sucker for creative combos like that. :) |
Kennedy's move
Diving Headbutt
Macho Man's flying headbutt.
I like the crazy ass shooting star presses and 450s, but enjoy a solid splash, moonsault, or flying elbow drop. I used to really like Val Venis' Money Shot. I also liked his splash off the top rope.... back when he wasn't a jobber and actually got to use the move. |
Not just saying this because of his recent passing, although it obviously brought it back into my head, but Bam Bam's flying heabutt looked great. He was a big man, so the impact always looked fierce, and he got air, which was crazy for a man his size. He moved so well in the ring.
Favourite has still got to go to Macho Man, big leap, and because of the time, it was always so impressive. Even now though, I can still watch it and feel the impact, nbot too many moves we can say that about 20 years ago. |
