it's a honest question since some matches seem like they were just going with the flow

The only non-scripted endings are when there's a title involved.

I dunno, it's like when you tell a genuine mark for the first time that wrestling is scriptede. That's the first question they always ask.

And yeah, most matches they do just go with the flow, except for certain high spots and the finish.
