What was eminems problem with XXL?

I remember him having beef with The Source and not XXL.

Basically, Ray Benzino (who works at the Source) went on this huge campaign about how Eminem is a racist and he sucks and blah blah blah. So they go on this back and forth diss song war and Eminem basically smokes him (you know, because Benzino is a joke).

Oh yeah I knoe about that I heard his song nail in the coffin

But on the song Marhshall Mathers he goes:

Hey-hey! And then to top it off, I walked to the newsstand
to buy this cheap-ass little magazine with a food stamp
Skipped to the last page, flipped right fast
and what do I see? A picture of my big white ass
Okay, let me give you motherfuckers some help:

he probably read a bad collumn or remark critisizing him or something. But at the end of that verse makes it seem like he got over it. No big deal

Actually, it's more help than you know, because I don't remember Eminem having ANY been with XXL, and a ton of shit to do with Source.

And, for the record, it boggles the mind that Benzio KEEPS GOING on this feud even when it's painfully clear that no one gives a fuck about him or his feud anymore.

Actually, that was it. That was the ONLY thing that XXL really had a problem with. Apparently, XXL published an unauthorized biography of Eminem. I was Googling it everywhere (and since I found you giving me a neg rep, I figured to get to researching in order to get back on your good side. Oh, and to have that rep taken back, hopefully), and all I could possibly find was stuff about how XXL took the lead for being pro-Em once The Source started fucking with him royally. Not sure who went first, Em or XXL, but it was something that went REALLY quick.

Look in the last paragraph under "Eminem vs. Benzio" to see that that was all it was (says nothing about the bio thing, that was another site which I can't find again, plus it's about five years old and hasn't been updated in years). But yeah, if there was a feud, which this thing implies there was SOMETHING there, it was so miscule that many people don't really remember it other than on that song he did, and XXL and Em are like business partners now.
