what was/is the best looking submission ever?

Off the top of my head I say

- Liontamer
- Bret's Sharpshooter
- Not to sound like a Bret mark (I'm not really), but his ringpost figure four was pretty sick

I'll post more if I remember. But by the time I do someone else will surely have mentioned it.

Doink's stump puller.

it looked cool, but does anybody know if this actually hurts?

Funky Fly 02-05-2007 06:09 AM

pretty sure a guy sitting on your neck and pulling your leg up is sorta uncomfortable at the very least.

You'd have to be pretty flexible for it not to be at least uncomfortable.

 I put it in there to see if I would get that kind of response. I can mind the name they called it "The Taking Care of Business" I think it was called.

The Show Off 02-05-2007 04:44 PM

The Dragon Ki Clutch (Low-Ki's version of the Dragon Sleeper)

Koji Clutch (Christopher Daniels version as he is the only one I saw apply it)
Regal Stretch

The Optimist 02-05-2007 11:39 PM

Fuck, I was hoping I was going to be the first to say the Cloverleaf. God, that move was applyed so perfectly everytime.

and an inverted one, with a dragon sleeper, that's the mutts nuts

Gertner 02-06-2007 06:20 AM

I love the Haas of Pain

Mr. Monday Morning 02-06-2007 07:41 AM

I can only remember seeing him do it once or twice but Eddy's Lasso from El Paso looked neat. The Gory Guerrero special is always great to see too.

Others (doubt they are the best but worth a mention)

Border City Stretch (Alex Shelley)
Cobra Stretch (Delirious)
Anaconda Vice (Tenzan - Punk is getting better but is still sloppy)

Raven used to use this weird move where he'd sort of pull the other guy into a kneeling neckbreaker position after crossing his legs over - somebody else has probably used it by now but I always thought it looked neat.
