I was surfing IMDB and found this website. It's kind of like Fantasy Football, except you pick 6 movies and you're ranked by how well the movies do at the box office.

yeah, seems like it could be interesting. But after the draft I fail to see what you do from then on. Like it is basically draft, then a few months later after the season ends go see who won.

I ended the season on April 22nd so no one gets like Spider-Man and all that crazy stuff.

You can add and drop movies from your template as well if they aren't doing so well.

You're struggling to have the highest grossing lineup, or that's what I understood of it.

I filled out registration page and it kept giving me an oops page saying how the site is new and it's working out some kinks. Should have worked out the registration part right away.

K I registered and went to find the league but it says I need an invitation.

I think I kind of fucked this up. I know what to do now. The first 7 of you to post your emails will get an invite to join the game.

Having same problem blitz. Joined some public league with a draft tonight though. Also question bout our league. Will it be the Ultimate one that takes into account PTA, IMDB Ratings etc. or just the regular one that focuses on Box Office.

Right now, it'll be the regular one so we can all get acquainted with the system. After this season, I'll change it up to Ultimate. I'm also gonna move the draft time on this new league up to tonight, because 5 days is too long to wait.

Good to hear, I'm a very impatient person too. Would probably lose interest and forget bout the draft in 5 days anyways. PMed you my info for the invite too.

OK, I just need 6 more people and the invites will go out. The draft is scheduled for about 8PM Pacific Time.

Also for people trying to sign up, I suggest using Internet Explorer instead of Mozilla. I had troubles with the site using Mozilla

K fuck don't think I'm gonna be able to do the draft, unless there's so me way to set picks in advance. Gonna be gone for the next few hours, be home around 9:45. If you can hold the draft off, I'm in.

I'm setting the draft so it's offline. That will complicate things less. That way there's no need to be online at the same time.

I don't mind doing the draft later if it is needed.

You do realize you'll only be able to play Spiderman 3 for 4 days. Seeing as the season ends on May 8th and Spiderman 3 is schedule for May 4th.

It'll probably take in $350 mil in those 4 days.

Spider Man is pretty bankable and obvious. That's why I ended it on said date.

I knew I shouldn't have tried to be fair and wait to make my slate until people joined.

Now I've got a bunch of shit going for me. Although, some of them are pretty bankable, I think.

Just saw Hannibal Rising, BTW. It is very ehhhh and boring.

Sad to hear Hannibal Rising was boring. Still plan to see it though, plus it's got a built in market so that's why I picked it.
