:y: class

Props to Vince for that. He may not be classy or moral all the time, but in this case, definitely an admirable thing to do.

Anybody Thrilla 02-09-2007 03:21 PM

Probably just did it for the good image.

Anybody Thrilla 02-09-2007 03:21 PM

Also, two funerals? I've never heard of that. Did they show the body at both?

I would imagine the one in Jersey was the funeral and the one in Florida was more of a memorial service sans the body.

Does that really matter?

Anybody Thrilla 02-09-2007 03:59 PM

No, I'm just saying.

Jeritron 02-09-2007 04:14 PM

Yea because IWC and Meltzer report news notes are solid PR....
I'm sure it wasn't about people finding out he did it, as much as it was him actually doing a classy thing that isn't gonna set him back at all. He's an asshole sometimes, but hes not evil.

The One 02-09-2007 07:27 PM

Rare case of McMahon being classy. It's respectable no matter what the reason. (And let's be honest, unless it's posted on WWE.com, basically 95% of the fans won't ever hear about it...)

addy2hotty 02-09-2007 07:37 PM

Good on Vince, Bigelow gave him a huge Mania main event. Good to see him respect that.

Didn't James Brown have about 175 funerals that the body was shown at?

I can definitely respect Vince for this. A classy maneuver by any standards.

Loose Cannon 02-09-2007 08:17 PM

Pretty nice of Vinny Mac there

KingofOldSchool 02-09-2007 08:22 PM

Vince defiantely isn't a complete asshole considering all of the awards they have won for their work with different organizations.

Gertner 02-09-2007 08:35 PM

Very nice gesture by Vince

FourFifty 02-09-2007 09:18 PM

Now no one can say a bad thing about Mr. McMahon for 72 hours.

Jeritron 02-09-2007 09:22 PM

In that case, Lucky for him theres not a PPV sunday.

Afterlife 02-10-2007 07:33 PM

I think it was 6. And, last I heard, the body was still sitting in his living room, locked in the house.

Watching ECW, no doubt.

The Ravishing One 02-11-2007 05:41 PM

Well done Vinne :y:

Londoner 02-11-2007 05:44 PM

I'm sure he'll also pay for ECW's funeral once he kills it.

Being from that area, I have heard the same.

2 Side Notes:

1. The whole thing is a fucking train wreck at this point.

2. This is the same town as the Worst PPV Ever and the first TV Title change that "never happened." (Unannounced, but Benoit beat Booker T)
