Rumors Leaking?

How exactly is it that tpww.net and other wrestling websites find out about all these rumors? If these rumors about plans and whatnot are only suppose to be known among those at the WWE then how do these things get spilled over to internet? there has to be someone on here working for the WWE...

I've actually kind of wondered this myself. After all these years you'd think they'd try to keep a tighter lid on things. Only reasons I can think are pure indifference, or that they want some things to get leaked out to get people talking and increase interest.

It's not hard to find people who'll talk. WWE will probably try and crack down, as they have in the past, but it's like trying to stop file sharing.

As a side note, did we ever find out for sure who "Willy the Worker" was? Was it RVD?

Wrestlers leak them to people. TPWW, which gets their news directly from other sources, and those sources, mainly steal backstage news from "real" sites (PWInsider, Observer, etc).

The WWE sometimes attempts to figure out exactly who's leaking what by giving them blatantly false claims.

Well, the Ruse Report goes without saying.

It never came out but it was 100% RVD.

"Willy the Worker" was someone's alter ego for essentially "shooting" on the business. It was heavily believed it was RVD, and the end of Willy's comments came around the time RVD got depushed, so that helped reaffirm it.

Arnold HamNegger 02-16-2007 03:34 PM

What did he say?

basically Nathan Joes is this shits and the company cares more about size than talent and all the boys are sick of it. Oh and how Jones got on Mania that year and guys like Van Dam didn't.
