Been out a while no thread on it, just been the Pharos ridiculous dungeon like 90 stories holy crap so annoying.

anyway this game isnt nearly as good as 4, 6, 7, 9 but i'd say it's right in the middle of the FF pack. the main character is exactly like Tidus which is retarded because Tidus was gay and the characters are kind of blande in general except for a couple.

new battle system is OK but you dont really do a lot. like in zelda you would hit a button to swing the sword and stuff but you just kinda target who you want to hit and it does it for you.

Pretty sure there is a thread for it, but yeah, I still haven't finished this since buying it when it came out.

I don't think there really is a "main character" in this one. If anything, it'd be Ashe, not Vaan.

yeah the story is all about what Ashe has to do but vaan is def the main character. you start the game with him pretty much and like when you go into a town, you follow him around. Huge homo though.

Plus you know the game is going down hill when they make a chick the main character

Dunno bout that. FF6 had a female lead and was one of the best of the series.

I wouldn't call him a pussy fag, but he's definitly pretty emo. He's not as bad as Tidus, tho.

Oh snap. Tales Of The Abyss (great game, btw) has pretty important characters also named Ashe and Van.

just beat it! chalk up 65 more hours of my life wasted :y: fun game though. a bunch of loose ends i didnt tie up like hunts and bazaar. annoying last boss, but definately managable. ending was nice.

oh yeah i forgot terra was all over that game...it tied in all of the characters so much though it was pretty equal. i always think of sabin as the main character in that game for some reason.

I don't think FF6 really had a main character, generally it's the character you start with in most games, but there are focal points to a lot of the character's stories and many times characters weren't playable. IMO Locke, Celes, Terra, Edgar and Sabin were all main characters in that game.

My personal favourites were Locke and Celes.
