I was watching E! cause I was bored and they mentioned the whole Trump deal and well... they showed Lashley as Trumps choice... but also... Austin as special guest ref for the match.

Unless Austin just climbs in the ring stuns both Lashley & Umaga, counts them out for 10, and forces both Trump and McMahon to shave their heads... this is going to SUCK!

I like Lashley and all, but yeah, this is probably going to suck. I mean, the reaction Austin will get alone will put Lashley to shame. I really think they should have gone with either Mick Foley, or someone really crazy like Rob Conway. :wtf:

I like Lashley, but yea I was looking forward to at least Foley carrying Umaga to a few good spots.
Now its Lashley, which makes sense cuz they don't really have a challenger for him and Trumps pick is obviously going over and they want to book him huge. Hopefully its title for title so Umaga can lose that IC belt. I'd rather it be around Lashleys waist as a double champion than Umaga, and thats saying a lot.

So is this match going to be non title, or for both titles. Or for just the ECW title? I need details on this. Because I'm dissapointed but I'd be even more dissapointed if they left 2 belts off the card and put them to waste in this. Why put the IC title on Umaga unless it was gonna be defended here, when it could be defended elsewhere?

Is it just a slap in the face to the people who would like to see that belt defended at a wrestlemania finally after 5 years?
And how can you leave a "world" title off the card.

I must also say, they should have kept Umaga undefeated for this, just so for a second you might believe in the markest of thoughts that Trump might get his head shaved.

Its funny that for a day the idea of Foley/Umaga was actually growing on me. When I saw Umaga come through the curtain last night I was dissapointed, yet relieved it wasn't Khali. I rebounded and said, alright at least we'll get Foley and he'll squash Umaga. Now its just meh.

In the photo, neither are holding their belts. Neither will lose in the run-in to Mania. So neither the IC or ECW title will be defended. Even though I couldn't care less about the ECW title, its a slap in the face to the talent who have been working on that brand since it returned.

As for the IC title, well, the title has little or no meaning anymore so what does it matter. Hardy should have held it til Mania, he's carried it damn well and deserved it. Dropping it to Umaga so he has a shiny belt for the media is ridiculous.

Well if you're going to have 2 champions in a match against eachother you should at least make it for both the belts, or at least the ECW title. Since we know Lashley's gonna win, it wouldn't effect his championship other than just build him up more.
As for Umagas IC title, just put it on the goddamn line. He's not a fitting IC champion and I'd rather see them push Lashley to the moon with that belt too than Umaga hold it. god what a crapshoot this all is.

The hair is what is on the line. Not some poxy title. Think like Vince. Hair = money. Belts = props.

I'd just rather see them put both titles on the line. Stack this match with everything the can think of to put on the line, because we sure as hell know its not going to deliver anyways.

Just think of the confusion for the non-fan who's only watching because Trump is there and he might have his head shaved.

You have Umaga, the WWE Intercontinental Champion defending his title while fighting for Vince McMahon to keep his hair against the Extreme Championship Wrestling World Champion who's defending his title and fighting for Donald Trump keeping his hair.

While later on, the World Heavyweight Champion Batista is defending against the Undertaker and the WWE World Champion and one-half of the World Tag Team Champions John Cena is defending against Shawn Michaels, the other half of the World Tag Team Champions.

Fit in between this the United States Champion Chris Benoit might defend his title, and another set of World Tag Team Champions should be defending their titles as well. Also, a 6-man ladder match to win a briefcase is going on with the winner allowed to fight for any title previously mentioned, whenever he wants. Even later on at Mania.

Lets keep it simple - Hoss vs Hoss - Vince loses his hair after the match.

Well in answer to KOOS, it isn't that E! knew it's just how they do those fighting pose photo shoots and stuff and on one side you have Vinny Mac and Umaga. On the other side you have The Donald with Lashley and in the middle of them you have Austin in the ref shirt.

Either way I don't care. It just looks like crap.

They're humanizing him. Making him more idenifiable as a human being. It's sound logic.
