Odd, my friend and I were just talking about this and I come here to see topic just started. I'm somewhat excited for it, not getting my hopes up to high though. My friends and I did a co-op for one of the new videogames they had out on gamecube, pretty sure TMNT 3, could have been 2. Anyways it was based on the new tv series and the storyline was so terrible you just wonder what the fuck they were thinking about. But pretty sure movie won't be anything like it. TURTLE POWER. Would be badass if Hostess brings back the Turlte Pies, along with the Slimer ones too.

I fucking grew up on this shit. I had not idea that this movie was coming out untill I saw ghost rider with my girlfriend and the TMNT tralier come on. I almost jumped up and yelled with joy but i restrained myself. My gf of course had no idea why i was so pumped

They look kinda gay in the preview. I remember them being a bunch of badass, pizza eating, crime fighting machines and I HOPE this movie doesn't lessen my opinion of them. I hope :(

So way back when they made the 3 movies with actual people playing characters (The third one was godawful) they were working on a fourth but it ran out of money and they just said fuck it. How do I know this? A friend of mine who's a former world karate champion was in it. Went to rehearsal like three times then they cancelled it.

I remember reading in 2002 or something that there was gonna be a 4th Turtle movie. Nothing ever came of it and shortly after that live action series was released... If I recall the first episodes was a 4-parter or summit... I always kinda thought that they scrapped the idea of the movie and just broke it down into four episodes and started a series.

That series sucked anyway... no shredder... some gay aliens... no Casey or April... A mystical female Turtle... :nono:

And as for my views on this movie... it's gonna suck. Come on how many times have the Turtles attempted to return, only to be shot down? I was MAD for the Turtles back in the day, but their time ended 15 years ago.

I actually had a bet with my best friend after we had gotten back from TMNT III (the one in "Ancient Japan" or whatever), that there would one day be another TMNT movie made. She said no, I said yes, so I won, technically, but yeah, because it isTMNT, I will go see it, CGI or not.

Long time fan of the original cartoon and first 2 movies, which as far as Im concerned are the only decent Turtles shows/films.

I'm probably gonna see this. I was a huge Ninja Turtles fun back in the day. I know it's gonna suck but in a little way I'm kinda interested. BTW the first 2 TMNT movies and the original cartoon ruled. TMNT 3/and probably this CGI one etc. is going to suck.

The original cartoon was goodness. Remember when the Footsoldiers were robots and broke everytime they got hit. Goodtimes.

I used to have the action figures and even the sewer layer.

I just watched it,

I fucking loved it, they mentioned all that happened in the past with Shredder and even left it open for a return, but the film overall was great.

It brought the turtles into a more modern era and is probably the darkest they've ever been on screen.

My only problem was that Donatello didn't get many lines as the main focus was on Raph and Leo (as always)

But honestly if you have any vague interest in the Turtles, watch this movie, it totally does it justice

My girlfriend wants to see it. I probably will go. I loved the turtles. I have fear for this one but if Youell says it is good I'll watch it.

Seen the trailer. REALLY looking forward to it. Not like Transformers. Ugh. TMNT is gonna rule. :love:

i have yet to hear a bad review, seriously people, watch this fucking movie, it's the best re-launching of a brand i've seen (well behind Batman Begins, but waaaaay better than Superman

Superman Returns wasn't a relaunch, so it doesn't count.

I plan on checking it out tomorrow morning when I get outa class...

my damn schedule screwed up my all day marathon...not I have to try to hold out a few hours to go to a showing of TMNT

Just saw it like 30 mins ago...

really great movie....graphics are amazing....and I think im in love with April O'neil all over again...might be because I hear the voice of Buffy coming out of her..

I think tomorrow I am going to smoke a blunt and go see this.

I liked it a ot actually. I was surprised how well it was done.

Its funny we got a toy in at work of the Nightwatcher with it saying on the box that no one knows who the mystery rider readlly is...then you can see through the visor of the figure and see the color of the bandana

Good stuff. Funny too.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. The Raph/Leo fight was excellent. The rain during it = :heart:.

Pretty key stuff.
