Nine Inch Nails-Year Zero

So the new album comes out in April. But the marketing campaign is already in high gear, and it's pretty incredible. Check the trailer:

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/K4JivMaovX8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/K4JivMaovX8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Fucking creepy. But there's a ton of promotion out there, including fake websites, videos, and even people leaving planted USB drives with songs and images on them around the world. Pretty fucking cool.

Oh and here's a 5 song sampler from the album.

I ain't really gonna complain, mind. Long as it's good, I don't give a shit.

Just odd.

Boston, Nine Inch Nails, the Remains...There are a very few bands whose name is synonymous with long waits.

Guns N Roses. Dre.

Dre and GnR don't have a 7 year minimum between records, though. Dre used to be rather prolofic.

And GNR, while not prolific, haven't been as untimely.

Though it is funny, when you think about that. Wasn't it Axl who told Tom Sholzt from Boston to stop fucking around and put a new record out?
