Did Tunney have some kind of falling out with the WWF? I know he left in 1995, and as I understand it, was cut as a cost-saving measure. But I don't recall WWE ever acknowledging his death a few years back, plus I thought he was a "lifer" having sold his territory to McMahon. McMahon usually looked after those guys, look at Gerry Brisco as an example.

For the record, apparently there was indeed a falling out, as Tunney was caught stealing from McMahon in a similar fashion to the Hebners. Funny how that never really got out back in the days pre-internet.

Apparently I missed that, how did the Hebner's steal from McMahon?

They co-owned a wrestling merchandise store and would sell official WWE merch that they nicked from live shows. Or summat along those lines.

They did give him the 10bell salute though....

Two things for which Vince will NEVER forgive:

1. Stealing money from him and/or
2. Having sex with his daughter (unless your name is HHH).

Yes. But Vince never let his hatred get in the way of him making some easy money.

But the WWE aren't making Macho Man shirts to include in their internet store package deal, because Vince doesn't want to see Savage's face in the crowd.

Note to self: Get giant, blown-up poster of Savage for next TV Taping.

Make a paper Savage mask and hide it in your back pocket to be pulled out and worn while you're on camera.
