Probably that the WWE made a rare lapse in judgement by ignoring the rightful contenders and booking title matches that threw off their carefully planned continuity.

Yeh he's right. They won that tag team turmoil at NYR. The winner gets a shot at the tag team gold in the future, is what Lillian said prior to the match.

Seems that WWE take "in the future" really seriously. Could be in 15 years.

Same thing happened a few years ago when Victoria won a shot on HEAT. I still remembered that some months later when she finally got it (pretty sure it was 'Mania).
