Ja rule is the biggest piece of shit ever.

Terrible rapper. Gayest voice ever. Discuss.

Blitz 03-20-2007 02:58 AM

Easily the worst rapper I've ever heard.

SammyG 03-20-2007 03:01 AM

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Blitz again.

ct2k 03-20-2007 10:41 AM

Dunno he's pretty short chief

Jura 03-20-2007 10:47 AM

I saw Half Past Dead recently and I laughed when he just got tossed by the prison guard like a rag doll.

Savio 03-20-2007 02:13 PM

I think he had a few decent songs

DaveWadding 03-20-2007 07:10 PM

First 2 albums good. Next 2 spotty. The rest crap.

St. Jimmy 03-24-2007 01:16 PM

As far as rappers go, he's terrible. That's pretty insulting too, since rap is the most god-awful shit ever. Next to country that is.

Kane Knight 03-25-2007 12:01 AM

Ja Rule isn't great, but worst? Gayest? Biggest piece of shit?

I'd put him against almost anything on MTV between 98 and the present in terms of quality. Note I said ALMOST. I say MTV, because I don't want people saying "I'm sure there are worse obscure acts..."

Fox 03-25-2007 12:17 AM

In seventh grade, everyone was all up on Ja Rule's new song "Put It On Me" like it was the hottest shit since Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club. I hated that shit. I hated everything Ja Rule released. And I told them, this guy has no tenure. He won't be in the business as a success for very long, because he doesn't have any fucking depth.

Here we are, 8 years later, and fuck if I wasn't right.

I love you

I always hated him, and when 50 came along and exposed him for the fake most of the TRUE hip hop fans knew he was, it just kinda sealed the deal you know?

No. Ja Rule is definitely the worst.

Kane Knight 03-25-2007 09:51 AM

Yeah...No.

ct2k 03-25-2007 12:50 PM

I find Nelly pretty intolerable too tbh

Johnny Vegas 03-25-2007 01:43 PM

The man made good money when he was hot. His crew could produce tracks that hit mainstream hard. He certainly isn't the worst rapper out now or ever, but he wouldn't be in the top 15. I wasn't even from NY and i was feeling that track "New York"

LoDownM 03-25-2007 02:42 PM

Except for the New York song, everything after his first CD blows.

The Naitch 04-06-2007 05:16 AM

he was blowing up hard in 2001 that's all I remember about Ja Rule

I liked the beat for Clapback and New York

darkpower 04-07-2007 06:22 AM

Ja WHO?

dablackguy 04-07-2007 08:07 AM

Well.....

I remember his first album, which compared that to his second album sounded completely different. From there, you had all those rumors that he tried to sound like DMX. Personally, I liked X better but Ja probably had more success.
