I've been watching 2000 WCW a lot lately....
....and I've been enjoying it. Just because its so outrageous I can't turn away. I don't remember it being this....good. For bad reasons, but pretty damn entertaining.
My favorite thing that I completely forgot about is Team Package. Ric Flair wrestling in plain street clothes every match is pretty ROFL. And I completely forgot how fuckin gourgeous Kimberly Paige was at this time. Damn. I was watching Spring Stamped, and holy shit. She looks like a goddess. |

Pics of what dude?

There are no pictures of WCW in 2000, just like Jesus and George Washington, some things are better left told about during campfires and long bus rides.

http://content.answers.com/main/cont...ge_Closeup.jpg This is Kimberly Page in her dirty, ravage me pose.
http://www.wrestlingepicenter.com/di...ides/1kim2.JPG This is her before stripping for a rogering. http://www.wrestlingepicenter.com/di...ides/1kim3.JPG "go ahead Jeri, toss it in" http://www.wrestlingepicenter.com/di...s/14143f70.jpg And this is what we call a lady in the streets thats a freak in the sheets. Seriously, behold a lady. It's a shame, that one day we may have to go to a museum to see what a classy woman truly looks like. http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.ya...rginprejs2.jpg And last but not least, a MILF. Makes great PB&J's and takes care of the kids, but still knows how to smoke a mean kielbasa in the captain's quarters. |
NATURAL BORN THRILLERS
|
WCW 2000 in my opinion was downright atrocious when it came to booking. judy bagwell on a pole match?!
But in retrospect, simply because I miss WCW....I like watching some old 2000 clips. The worst part is...they had some great ideas that went nowhere due to horrible booking or piss poor attitude on the part of the wrestlers. |
That period was entertaining in a "What are they going to do to make things worse next week?" kind of way.
|
It was also fun to watch the receding attendance level on Nitro.
|
WCW 2000 did have some awesome moments. And the roster was awesome at the time. Natural Born Thrillers, Filthy Animals, 3 Count, Yung Dragons, Team Canada, Ric Flairs Seven (Whatever they were called), and then other superstars such as Sting, Goldberg, Booker T, DDP, Jeff Jarrett etc.
But unfortunately, 2000 will always be remembered for the booking. |

BTW, was Judy Bagwell Buff's real mum? Lol. |
I think she is. I remember hearing something about Judy Bagwell complaining on Buff's behalf that he didn't get a limo for that one Raw he was on.
|
I just remember watching Nitro during parts of 2000 and thinking, "who would pay to go to this?"

the best part of WCW in 2000:
Lance Storm was the best in WCW and you can't deny, he had a pretty sweet winning streak, and holding 3 titles and naming them after Canada was excellent (Canadian Heavyweight Championship, 100 kg and Under Championship, and Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title). He was the major reason I stayed tune with WCW at the time. No matter how awful their booking was, they booked Storm perfectly. |
Yeah - one of my favorite matches from WCW was Lance Storm vs. Mike Awesone at New Blood Rising. LOL I remember watching it on PPV and Lance bringing out the Canadian enforcer who kept re-starting the match about Awesome would beat Storm. "According to Canadian rules, you must win by a 5 count!" "According to Canadian rules, victory is only achieved with pinfall!"

Storm was THE reason to watch WCW at the time, I was so hyped when he came in with the Invasion..only to be just a jobber. Shame.
