Largest wrestling family?

What is the largest wrestling family (I mean in terms of memebers, not wieght). My vote is for the Miavia's, starting with the Great Cheif Peter Miavia.

But I honorable mention should go to the Calagery Harts and the McMahons.

Road Warrior 03-27-2007 04:28 PM

Von Erich's, Armstrongs

BigDaddyCool 03-27-2007 04:31 PM

BTW, Davey Boy Smith, did he marry into the Harts?

Road Warrior 03-27-2007 04:32 PM

Ya, he married Bret's sister

We can't all be genealogists.

Theo Dious 03-27-2007 04:39 PM

And for the record, it was Stu's daughter he married.

Jura 03-27-2007 04:44 PM

Is Melissa Joan Hart related to Bret?

BigDaddyCool 03-28-2007 01:42 AM

No, but her boobs are related to give me a boner.

It's hard to answer this question. Are you asking soley in number of family members, number of family members who have performed on a national stage, or just number of family members who have been in some way shape or form involved with pro wrestling...

RP 03-28-2007 02:07 AM

The Bravo's. Aside from Dino, they have there own cable channel. Comon.

I'm asking more or less, family members that are involved on a national stage in more than just bit role or showing up for an occasional match. For example, Vicky Guerrero would count because while she doesn't wrestle, she is involed in some on going storyline on the other hand Brooke Hogan wouldn't because while she has made the occasional apperance, she is done with wrestling for the most part, this could change in the future.

Theo Dious 03-28-2007 03:11 PM

Also, Brooke Hogan is a whore.

The Guerreros have to go on the list, surely, but I also agree with the Von Erichs and Armstrongs, and the Harts have had their number as well.

BigDaddyCool 03-29-2007 12:12 AM

Who are in the Armstrongs...is the Road Dogg part of it?

Jesse James. I honestly wasn't following wrestling long enough, but apparently someone (Abdullah the Butcher, was it, by some odd chance?) put a curse on the Armstrong family while feuding with Bullet Bob, and so the whole Armstrong clan was a bunch of jobbers, with Larry Zbysko constantly mentioning the "Armstrong Curse" for years to come. Road Dogg even sort of acknowledged this once, with a shirt that said, "Look Ma, No Curse!" I could easily have the part about Bob, Abdullah, and the start of the curse wrong, but I definitely remember Zbysko always mentioning it on WCW programming.

Nope this one is focusing on families such as Maivia, Hart, Von Erich, Orton, Colon, Gagne, Funk, DiBiase, and many more families of wrestling.

BigDaddyCool 03-30-2007 01:13 AM

With all due respect, the Orton family is the worst. Also who is in the DiBiase family besides Ted?

Another question, are the Andersons a real family or a make-em-up family like the Dudleys?

The latter, at least more or less. That's not as well known, though, since things were more believed in general back in their day.

His step-dad, Iron Mike Dibiase was a well known wrestler who died in the ring. Maybe his mum as well?
Also I know he has sons and I'm pretty sure they wrestle too.

Vince McMahon is the fucking Monopoly guy of wrestling. I mean, really...

.44 Magdalene 04-01-2007 05:40 AM

Which reminds me: Vince still has the legal rights to the Dudleyz. What do you think the chances are of him churning out new Dudley boys in the future...?
