Build a Tag Divison on RAW
 

We all know that Raw desperatly needs a Tag Divison, so I was woundering what wrestlers would you guys pair together to help bolster the divison?

Nah, Tag Wrestling is kinda boring. Thanks anyway.

Was it boring with Edge/Christian, the Hardys, the Dudleys? Wait, don't answer that because later on it got very repetative.

First time: OMFG THREE WAY LADDER MATCH!
Second time: WOOO! TLC!
Third time: TLC... again.
10th time: Okay, just stop.

Except they didn't do it a 10th time, they only did it 3 times.

Too Cool and APA were underrated during that era too.

Build a tag division, well now MNM is gone. I'd bring back the Hardys full time, actually push WGTT, L&K, and start making tag teams that are actually teams and don't have lame Saturday Morning cartoon gimmicks. It's never gonna work with brand extension though because instead of getting a tag division with 3 or 4 good teams you have 3 shows with one good, if that, team per show.

Off the top of my head, the combination of any of the two teams in gimmick matches:

Hardyz/Edge and Christian Cage Match (What started the tag team uprising at that period.)
Tables Match at Royal Rumble 2000
Triangle Ladder Match
TLC 1
TLC 2
TLC 3
TLC 4

Yeah, it was a Ladder Match. For some reason I thought it was a cage match (the Terri Invitational Tournament).

Yea, tlc 4 didn't involve them, but I agree they did the same idea a lot. It was better than nothin, and remained a draw.

You're right on TLC 4. So it's more like 6 3/4 (The Dudleys, Christian and Jeff(?) were in it)...

They actually did have a cage match at Unforgiven 2000. The Hardy's vs. Edge and Christian that is.

Yea and they had a few on raw. And the dudleyz and the hardys had a cage match with tables at survivor series 2001. And they were all good.

I'd rather see E&C vs The Hardys vs The Dudleys part 243 than watch L&K vs Deuce and Domino.

I could watch The Hardys, Edge & Christian and The Dudleys do whatever to each other until the end of time. Why are people complaining?

RAW has got some great teams as it is. The World's Greatest Tag Team are amazing, and The Highlanders don't get nearly enough credit for their in-ring abilities. Cryme Tyme is improving leaps and bounds, too. As for new editions to the division, I'd have Val Venis and Super Crazy team together. I don't know, I just think they'd be a good fit. You also have The Frat Boys in OVW who could be called up. I'd also have an orgasm if the WWE brought in Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway as a team.

When we get a decent main event scene, and a decent midcard scene - then MAYBE they'll give a shit about tag team wrestling.

I do wonder if we're gonna see Michaels and Cena stripped of the World Tag Team Championship and a tournament or something of the like for the title. I know that may seem like a markish thing to say, but it's just a minor curiousity.

Raw at least has more than two teams unlike SmackDown! over there.

SmackDown! has technically got three. Four if you count Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki. :p

Fuck an ECW Tag Team Division, just have The Full Blooded Italians reform on RAW. Little Guido is liked by Vince, so he is one cruiserweight he could get his size ignored, at least for a little while (I honestly believe this is the only reason Tony Mamaluke was released yet Guido remained on the roster). They can take Trinity over to the Women's Division, too.
