Memphis Wrestling will return to the Mid-South Coliseum after a 2 year absence for "Clash of Legends" with Jerry Lawler vs Hulk Hogan. The show will be April 27, 2007.

How they can afford Hogan and Vince can't (or won't, I suppose) is beyond me.

It's principle. I'm sure Hogan's making more than anyone else on the card.

There is a story to this actually.

Like years ago Hogan wrestled King in Memphis and I think King won. Or it was something like that.

Well every now and on Memphis TV they would show the clip of King beating Hogan. Hogan heard of this so he called King and says basically :I hear you're showing this footage of me losing to you." and so of course Hogan wants to get the rematch avenge his loss 20 odd some years later.

I'm hearing that Andy Kaufman might ref the match...but that's a secret because he's still pretending to be dead.

I may just take a trip to see this if it's true.

they finally decided to pay the $3 million hogan was asking for.

It's not actually THE Hulk Hogan duh! It's just some guy dressed like Hogan.

Gonna go to this.
