Umaga As World Champion?
 

Would you buy Umaga as World Champ and / or WWE Champ?

I would.

I think he has good ring work, a so / so gimmick, and a great manager - that's like 40 times better than Cena already. I like him as a Champion; thoughts from you guys.

Would rather see Cena as champ than Umaga.

He's an OK worker, but has a horrible gimmick. I would like to see him take some time off and come back as "Jamal" or "Eddie Fatu". Anything but "Umaga".

If this was 1994, yes.

Honestly anything that gets the IC title off of him and onto someone deserving would make me just peachy.

I wouldn't be against it, Cena as champ although annoying is nowhere near as annoying as it was say about 18 months ago.

I highly doubt they would give the title to a guy who doesn't talk on the mic though, oh wait they did that with ECW...

After Cena, I'd buy an inanimate carbon rod.

Ask me this question 3-6 months ago (or a few days ago, for that matter) and I would say absolutely no way under any circumstances....but after Wrestlemania I absolutely would buy him as champ, and thats not because he put on a classic with Lashley.

I'm sick of people bringing up the inanimate carbon rod like it's a witty remark. Lay off the rod, it's pretty damn charismatic for an inanimate object. It could easily have been World Champion instead of anyone past Benoit and Eddie Guerrero, and the WWE would have been a better place.

The rod should have won the 2006 Royal Rumble instead of Rey Mysterio. There, I said it.
