I wish the WWE was more invested in women's wrestling...

http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance...enix-ladder-ma

Just watch. Not the best of its kind ever, but definitely a nice little match.

addy2hotty 04-05-2007 05:05 AM

I wish they'd been invested enough to give us an answer to the Victoria/Trish 'something happened in their past' question.

I'm thinking a Mickie/Victoria ladder match would be something special.

I'd love to see Mickie James vs. Victoria vs. Jillian Hall vs. Trinity vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Ariel vs. Katie Lea in a Six-Way Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

I'd just love to see a six-way personally.

Um, you named 7 women there. Wouldn't matter anyway, WWE could call it a 6-way and nobody would notice because everyone would either be taking a piss or beating off.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 09:29 AM

Oh and yes, that would be the fucking awesomest thing ever.

I thought that the answer to that was that they had been fitness models together and Trish left and became a success in WWE and pretty much forgot about Victoria.

Just like we were supposed to forget that she was the Godfather's ho that won the HC title and got put through a table by RTC. The title history page actually lists "Godfather's Ho" as a HC title holder.

Mr. Nerfect 04-05-2007 09:32 AM

Haha, yes, there are seven there. I meant to add another like Shantelle Taylor, and make it an 8-Way, not including me, 311 and DarthTeedious, who would be "officiating". :shifty:

It wouldn't take much to thinking to come up with an explanation where Victoria was so desperate to get into the WWE (Trish didn't put in a good word for her), that Victoria whored herself out to The Godfather.

It'd just make me love Vicky more. :y:

JR: Why does this match need 3 referees?
King: Obviously because that guarantees that at least one of them will be sufficiently finished beating off long enough to call a win.

311 04-05-2007 09:36 AM

Since all women's WWE matches apparently need at least one female who can't really do fuck all in the ring...let's add Kristal.

After all, that's not what this is about, really.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 09:40 AM

No, this is about some joker making the belt unremovable from the loop, so that Ariel will be left swinging with her legs flailing and the entire crowd can see ahahaha I mean it's about a showcase of pure talent.

311 04-05-2007 09:42 AM

Have some rep. I mean it.

Theo Dious 04-05-2007 09:45 AM

Seriously to be perfectly honest, the best women in wrestling are the ones who are smoking hot and can wrestle. Because nothing is hotter than the sight of a gorgeous woman dealing a Benoit-esque german suplex to another gorgeous woman. Especially if it ends in a bridge-pin.

That's the first time I've ever used that smiley.

311 04-05-2007 09:59 AM

Completely agree. However, it seems like every time WWE has a female that can actually work, they drop her or phase her out, most likely because they don't want her to make their playboy cash-machines look badly.

I was actually going to add Kristal. She looked alright in a match with Jillian Hall once upon a time.

But yeah, the women like Jillian Hall, Mickie James, Melina, Victoria and Shantelle Taylor are the best Divas the WWE has, in my opinion. They're hot and they have talent. I mean, maybe it's just me, but I find women with some kind of talent more desireable than the ones who have nothing going for them besides their surface. I guess the WWE must think that these women who would be sluts in real life, if it weren't for the money they earn looking like sluts are more "accessible" than women with dignity.

I think they're overlooking that these women with "dignity" travel on the road as much as the guys, in a male dominated show, getting watched mainly by men, as they rub bodies with women (and sometimes men) who, like themselves, are not wearing much. I don't think it's a shy "dignity".

Fignuts 04-05-2007 10:42 AM

Add Megumi Kudo, so she can beat living hell out of all the divas I cant stand, with a flaming barbed wire baseball bat.

Kane Knight 04-05-2007 10:47 AM

I remember watching a video that someone sent me of two women wrestling in japan. It was awesome, but made me sad, because these two women put on a better show than the WWE does...Period...

...Or TNA.

What are you talking about, the only promising women they've let go of have been Molly and Jacqueline and Jazz and Gail Kim and Ivory and maybe I should just shut up now?

Fignuts 04-05-2007 10:49 AM

Not to make you even sadder but its not a rare occurance.

I know.

I should start a Wrestling Fan suicide prevention thread.

...in a graphic depiction of "feminine itch" for one of those Cunt-a-sil commercials, or whatever they're called.

hb2k 04-05-2007 12:39 PM

I hate women's wrestling. It's just plain horrible. Even the "good" ones are awful. It's never drawn a thing and time spent on it is time wasted, because they could be spending it on someone who might, you know, actually get over and draw money.

As neither is a current feature of WWE, they are obviously figments of your deranged imagination, Mr. Do.

My question is why isn't Victoria being pushed more. I'm not sure if I'm a Victoria mark, or have a crush on her or what.

Was that an electric chair suplex I saw?

What Would Kevin Do? 04-05-2007 01:32 PM

If it's what I think you're talking about, it's a Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex. Esentially the same thing, but she also crossed her arms and pulled them down between her legs while she did it ;)

The second video I posted has a top rope Tiger suplex in it ;)

Holy shit, I'm an instant mark for that chick in gold.

Actually, I'm an instant mark for this. Untapped in the American business, obviously.

Damn. :y:

Mr. Nerfect 04-05-2007 06:58 PM

My computer's being retarded and not playing the video, but a Japanese Ocean suplex? Tiger superplex? Fuck yeah!

I can see where hbk2k is coming from, but I think that mainly has something to do with the quality of the performers the WWE uses, and the quality they let them perform at. Hot women beating the shit out of each other in quality matches could draw money.

M-A-G 04-05-2007 07:03 PM

They're investing all they need to invest in women's wrestling: Girls that look hot, are marketable, willing to get implants, and don't question things. That's all that's necessary.

hb2k 04-05-2007 07:08 PM

Mainstream wrestling fans don't give a crap about substance-less good matches. I'm not saying I like that that's the way it is, just that women's wrestling will never be a big deal, no matter how flashy the moves they do are. And for the record, for every person that thinks Mickie James is good despite the fact she can't throw a forearm to save her life, there are many many more that turn the channel on her. Women's segments are consistent ratings losers. Sure, that could be because of the level of women or the attention they get, but really, what difference would it make - women's wrestling is horrible, the best women's wrestling is overrated, and on it's best day it'll never be important. Not saying it can't be a fun part of the show, just that it's ultimately disposable and a waste of time when they can use that time pushing somebody who could be a star.

M-A-G 04-05-2007 07:14 PM

The average wrestling fan is a 15-30 year old male. What are males that age most interested in? Yup, you guessed it. Cena.

M-A-G 04-05-2007 07:15 PM

Er, I mean, sex.
