Little Help/Opinion Here

I haven't really had a chance to see much ECW since its return. I don't have cable, and even if I did, my local provider only carries it on digital. I don't really follow indies that much, or recent TNA. That being said, can someone give me the deal on the following guys, should I like them, and why. If you're a fan of them, sell them, if not, bury them. Just let me know.

Elijah Burke (Seen none of him)
CM Punk (Seen a little ring work and heard quite a bit)
Marcus Cor Von/Monty Brown (Saw several TNA promos)
Mike Knox (Seen none of him)

Elijah Burke = Awesome
CM Punk = Also Awesome
Marcus Cor Von = Awesome, but not always for the right reasons
Mike Knox = Hairy, Cavemanesque, Not very awesome

Okay f'reals...

I like Elijah Burke a lot. He's got pretty good mic skills, good charisma, and he's not great in the ring but he's all-around solid. I think he's got alot of upside and potential.

CM Punk I'm a bit of a mark for. He's alittle watered down in ECW but I like his work. Like Burke, I dont know that there is any one thing he is spectacular at but there is nothing he doesn't do at least half-decent.

Marcus Cor Von is pretty much the prototypical WWE Heavyweight Champ. Most of the time he is good on the mic, a little sub-par but decent enough in the ring, and he has a ridiculous yet entertaining finsher.

Mike Knox was 'meh' at best. He hasn't been on TV in forever and I don't know that he ever will be. Very bland worker overall and pretty terrible on the mic.

While we're talking about people not following ECW, can someone tell me what the Elijah Experince is, and why it's so awersne>

All you need to know is that Kevin Thorn is awesome

Elijah Burke doesn't really use the Elijah Experience anymore, it was just kinda a reverse russian leg sweep (i think it was, anyway). You might be thinking of the Elijah Express, which I guess is a little overrated but cool nonetheless. It's just a flying knee attack but it often comes out of nowhere and looks pretty legit.

Actually I do know that, that's why I didn't put him up there.

Im sorry, what? The word Hippophant springs to mind.

Did I need to put more emphasis on the words "Most of the time"....?

I am aware of that whole promo, and excellent example of him going the other direction on the mic.

Most of the time he's a poor man's Rock on the mic.

Burke - Eh, he's decent. Got a good uture or him, and quite frankly I think ECW will be a good breeding ground for him where he can get national expose while not being on the big stages.

Punk - I like him. He was/remains one of the only RoH guys I actually can say that about. I see him kind of taking the RVD road...really over when he arrives, slowly his pops get smaller and smaller. He'll get a couple teases to be Main Eventer, but by the time he does get a run at the top, he'll be bland. That just my guess though. Either way, I salivate at the idea of a long drawn out Stoner Van Dam vs. Straight Edge Punk angle.

Cor Von/Brown - One of the best mic workers in the industry...but for all the wrong reasons. Without him getting to do insain promos, he has no chance of getting over.

Know - Piss break.

I'm waiting for when Punk turns heel. :D
