Which title has the most credibility?
 

What title right now has the most credibility out of the I.C Title and the U.S title. I would have to say right now the U.S title. Benoit's reign since October has been solid and the belt in my eyes has some meaning to it. Umaga's reign as I.C champ has been a disaster. Has he defended the belt yet?

The one that's on RAW.

When I look at the whole history of the two titles, the IC title definitely has moer overall credibility. Though of late the US title has been used in a far more sensible and respectful fashion. The IC title at any rate has never been held by anyone called "Hugh G Rection."

Considering the IC title is currently held by someone who uses their thumb as a finisher, at the moment i would say the US title but overall the IC title.

Truthfully, the US Belt. Infact, IMO, the US Title is probably the best booked and most honored titles of the past few years.

Except for Orlando Jordan. :-\

I would love to say the I.C. title as there have been so many great matches involving that title in the past, but in the present the U.S. title has more credibility.

Either way, they're both jobber titles!

As a longtime, loyay WWF/WWE fan I'm going to say the IC title. Maybe part of it is I never followed the US title until it came to WWE, and I don't know its history. While right now the US Champion is a better, and more credible wrestler than the IC Champion I still have to go for the IC title.

I can't be arsed to debate the history of both titles. The main question said "right now" and I'm going with the U.S Strap. No contest there.

Overall: IC. Right now: US.

Seeing how the U.S. Title has actually been defended at Wrestlemania the last couple of years, I'll go with that.

It's been poorly booked for a while right now, but both "secondary" titles are hurt by the fact that both exist within the same promotion, and that theres 3 world titles presumably above them as well.
So 2 titles that used to be the uppermidcard secondary belt in their respective promotion are now poorly booked and the 4th and 5th ranking belts in the company.
