Who was better - Hogan or Nash?
Here's the question brother. Both are legends in their own right, dude, but only one can lay claim to being to greatest of all time. Hogan was a locker room leader, man, but Nash was not just a top wrestler, but a genuinely nice guy who worked hard for the industry, and for the fans.
So - who runs wild on you, brothhhhher?! The Hulkster, or the big sexy man? |
I am cool, duuude! Havent you seen Suburban Commando?! You betta watch your mouth, brothhhher, or my army of screaming Hudamaniacs will run wild... on... you....!

WWE is looking for more tasteless morons to push. |
How is anything he said 'Tasteless'?
|
Ok, I'll break trend and actually answer this question.
I think Hulk Hogan has done more for the business, and is the all around better performer. Given, Nash was one of the main guys in the nWo, which was one of the most successful periods in wrestling history, but he doesn't have a timeless appeal to him. Just look at last year, when he came back to the WWE. He got absolutely zero reaction, and was absolutely boring. Hogan was on top during two of wrestling's top era's, has more charisma, is a WAY bigger name. Hogan could probably get a standing O in a football stadium, that's how known and liked he is. Plus, imo, in his heyday, Hogan was a better worker than Nash ever was. So in a nutshell, Hogan is better. |

Hogan.
I'm not the biggest Hogan fan, but without Hulk Hogan, wrestling probably wouldn't be what it is today. It was a combination of luck, business prowess, and Hoigan's personality. |

In terms of athletic ability I'll go with Nash beacuse at least at one point he was athletic. Hogan had no skill at all during any time even in his prime. But Hogan did indeed revolutionize wrestling, which I still can't understand how.
|
Hogan not for his in-ring talent but like KK said he made wrestling what it is today. Nash wasn't too bad in his prime but was/is way too injury-prone.
|
Nash

It's a tie, they both loose IMO. I was never really into either of them, I think there both kind of bland. Actually, I remember at one point in my life, I thought Hogan was kind of cool, but when he returned with Hall and Nash and had the fued with The Rock, it kind of changed my perspectice one him. I just find him wicked boring.

Poll?
And Hogan, by far. |

In terms of drawing and popularity, gotta go with Hogan. In terms of "athleticism" in the ring, Nash.
Anyone who has seen Hogan do a powerbomb, raise your hands. ...anyone? ......exactly. |
My God...You mean someone 7 feet tall can do a powerbomb?
Athleticism isn't just the ability to throw around Rey Mysterio. It's also the ability to work without hurting yourself. Of course, Nash's record is flawless in that category... |

Hogan. Both men were/are utter shit in the ring, and infamous backstage, but Hogan would actually draw.
|
I totally forgot the many people who fell to the ATOMIC legdrop...
Andre Savage Ric Flair Sgt. Slaughter The Rock Yokozuna Vince McMahon and the list goes on.... |
Nash blows. Hogan is not the best wrestler, but his drawing power inhis hey day makes him take the cake.
|
this coulda been a poll.....that way funky could tell you no more polls
