The new Incredible Hulk is....

Edward Norton.

http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...goryid=13&cs=1

I like it.

Downunder 04-16-2007 07:48 AM

He doesn't look anything like Eric Bana :n:

Mr Regal 04-16-2007 08:41 AM

I enjoyed HULK

Norton is a fantastic actor....hopefully this will be good. Although the guy helping to write had a hand in F4 (shite) and Elektra (Booorrrrriiiiing) which that does not bode well:(

Dave Youell 04-16-2007 09:31 AM

But it's being directed by the guy who did the Transporter, which was very cool

Would never of thought about Norton as Hulk, mainly cos I never thought he'd do it.

Thought Adrian Brody was up for the role a few weeks back.

Pinnacle Charisma 04-16-2007 09:44 AM

What was wrong with Eric Bana

Nothing, he just didn't want to do it again and they only signed him on for a 1 film deal

It was alright for what is was, nothing amazing and the effects were dodgy, but based on the pure hand to hand action scenes (which was the main selling point of the first one) I think it held it's own

Mr Regal 04-16-2007 10:15 AM

He's no Ang Lee, that's for sure!

Of course it could turn out to be incredible....i just wouldn't hold my breath.

Rammsteinmad 04-16-2007 10:46 AM

Crap or not... I'll still get the DVD when it comes out.

YOUR Hero 04-16-2007 11:07 AM

The 70's TV series type Hulk is much more entertaining than a Hulk that can be cruise missiled without affect. If they're going to do this again, I hope they tone down his abilities. Don't care about the fact in the old comics he could leap miles at a time, that's just not a great movie translation. I liked the movie for many reasons, but this stuff I speak of, not so much.

Mr Regal 04-16-2007 11:18 AM

I loved the missile biting one mile leaping, indestructable HULK in the movie:y:

There wasn't much i didn't like about it really, the pace may have been a bit slow at times...that's about it though.

I appreciated the fact that it was aimed, quite obviously, at adults, unlike say the Fantastic Four.

That's how he is, though. He's unstoppable. Hell, at one point, he got some upgrades from Apocalypse and was actually dominating both the Juggernaut (who he'd always kinda fought to a stalemate) and The Absorbing Man (who is no slouch either) at the same time.

Kane Knight 04-16-2007 05:44 PM

Hulk works for the same reason Godzilla works. Hulk is awesome when he's a Godlikesmashing machien. I just didn't like Ang Lee's Hulk.

Boondock Saint 04-16-2007 06:03 PM

Hated the Hulk movie. I liked Bana, though. But Ed Norton I think is a fantastic choice, surprising too. I love both Transporter movies for what they are, so I'm interested in seeing what the director does with this.

Kalyx triaD 04-16-2007 07:26 PM

I liked HULK. I'm betting this new one will go down the 'popcorn-fun' style of comic movies simply because FF and X3 made money that way. It's not bad for a one-time viewing sort of thing but it'll make it into a weaker movie overall.

Downunder 04-16-2007 08:20 PM

I liked the movie - one of the few I know.

I liked it because I was expecting a big dumb movie and that's what it was, nothing more nothing less. But it seems to me this time they want a "big name star" to carry the next movie.

KayfabeMan 04-16-2007 09:26 PM

That is fucking lame.

I just do not see how this guy could be the Incredible Hulk.

Hulk Sucked

Edward Norton is cool

I'm hoping for an Incredible Hulk Curb Stomp

Hulk was fun during the parts when he was rampaging, and I thought the comic-frame style they did was cool, but there was just too much of it that dragged, and the villain they made up was stupid.

Anywho, here's hoping this one manages to get it right. Norton oughta be fun to watch, at least.

Interesting article. Grey Hulk?

http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/04/...reen-hes-grey/

Downunder 04-21-2007 04:17 AM

Grey is gay :n:

The Hulk is green

Kane Knight 04-21-2007 10:54 AM

As much as Grey Hulk kicked ass, is it possible they literally just mean a different shade of greeen?

He was originally grey. :p

I fucking knew some comic book geek would correct me :foc:

BTW the only reason he was originally grey was the comic was drawn in black and white - it was in the days before colour was invented.

Kane Knight 04-21-2007 11:02 PM

You've got that backwards, Nunder. Hulk became green because the printin of the grey hulk was inconsistant.

Downunder 04-22-2007 12:04 AM

Not surprised I got it backwards - I just made that shit up :p

Kane Knight 04-22-2007 12:12 AM

I figured as much, given what you said was patently stupid.

Nah, but this guy would have been awesomeness.

Bang, boom, HULK SMASH YOU STRAIGHT TO THE MOON!

Impact! 04-22-2007 09:21 AM

For some reason when I red that my mind had it sounding like sean connery (which makes it ten times funnier imo)

The screen won't feature just one big green monster, however, as the Hulk's enemy this time around will be the Abomination, another gamma-radiated creature.

YOUR Hero 06-03-2007 07:33 PM

Says he'll be green.

Reavant 06-03-2007 07:58 PM

I didnt like the way they went from scene to scene and the way they did action scenes in HULK. They tried making it like you were looking at a comic book with all the different cells during certain parts of the movie and it was just hard to look at. Hopefully they dont do that in this one.

Blitz 06-03-2007 08:03 PM

Reavant should be the new Hulk.
