I can't connect, wtf?
 

For some reason, I can't login into Facebook, Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail, or update my AVG Virus protection. When I try to login to these sites it takes me to a "Can Not Connect to Server" message screen, but if I go through a proxy server then it will let me login and stuff. I have checked my firewall and I can still log into TPWW and Myspace. Do I have a virus or something?

Try a different browser.

It could be a virus.

IE didnt work either, but I just ran System Restore and it works fine now.

sounds to me like zone alarm or something was restricting your net access.
