I don't think he was as bad with money, but really just bad with business. He was competing on a low budget with 2 multi-million dollar companys, while struggleing to get to there level with bad decisions.

He was bad at everything. What people accuse WCW and WWE of doing, he did also just with a hella smaller budget.
