nothing is better than a well executed hip toss, 1980's style. Probably the best hip tosser was either Koko B Ware, Ricky Steamboat or the legendary Mr. Perfect look--

I am shocked that there wasn't some dumbass reference to toast in there.

It was kinda crappy really. Hogan didn't flip, he did a helicopter. Kids get hurt for not bumping right. But the greatest of all time gets away with these things...meh.

I think the reason that hip toss looks shitty is because Perfect did a real hip toss, not a hip toss with the opponent helping.

or because Perfect is perfect and Hogan couldn't sell a bottle of water to a desert castaway.

That hiptoss = Judo hiptoss, which means it was actually taken as it was supposed to be.

There are so many frames missing it looks like Hogan leapfrogs over Perfect.

And that just doesn't make sense, Hogan leaving his feet at his own will!?

At least that's close to how my instructor's have taught me to do one. Of course, maybe I'm just not advanced enough yet to do a hip-toss using only the opponent's arm that results in a perfect forward flip. :shifty:

Perfect was a legend. Bloody Hogan doing that "no sell shake my head with the power of the Wilson Heights Gang" thing does my head in.

Thankfully, Hennig's teaching lives on, I think he may save lives with this...
