Deftones
 

Does anyone here like them? They're one of my favorite bands actually. I'm going to see them on June 3rd at the 930 Club in DC. I was just wondering if anyone else liked them/hated them/indifferent because I haven't seen them brought up a tremendous amount.

love them. my own summer is one of the best hard rock songs of all time. they also did a cover of weezer's say it aint so which was better than the weezer version imo.

I saw them when they were on the Family Values Tour...

I like listening to them...but they arent one of those bands that I would buy tickets for just for them...

On the other hand...they are already sold out for their tour stop here later on this year.

I saw them right after White Pony came out, and it was like Chino's first night back after throwing out his voice. He bet the crowd 1,000 dollars they would play the next song perfectly, and then told us he should pay us 10 grand based on him alone, but instead threw backstages passes out to the crowd, which I did not catch because I was on the lawn.

Around the Fur is my favorite Deftones album.

I was gonna make a thread about Deftones. Yeah, I picked up around the fur from a bargain bin in the weekend and fell in love with My Own Summer (shove it) its amazing.

Bump, if anyone cares. Saw them last night in concert. Fucking amazing. Played a bunch of old stuff as well as some more mellow new stuff. Great concert.

Deftones are a really good band. Underrated.

On the subject of Deftones, except for having to wait ages for the album, what does everyone think of Team Sleep?

Mr Regal likes the Deftones. Without putting effort in they would still be heavier than 90% of bands that try to be heavy. I'm loving "Rapture" and "Hole in the Earth" at the moment.

Not one of my favourite bands, but I like'em.

They're listenable, Wil Haven do that screamo-metal thing far better and heavier though.

But, Deftones are pretty cool too. I like Around the Fur a lot.
