How did Dan "the Beast" Severn come about his name?
 

Well I figured his parent's last name was Severn, and they though Daniel would be a good name for their son. Probably shortened it to Dan at some point and stuck to it. My problem is where did "the Beast" part come in? He never struck me as all the beastly.

When little Danny Severn was in seventh grade, he fucked two French poodles and a Siamese cat. In the butt. His friends started calling him Danny "Bestiality" Severn. When he became a professional fighter, however, it was felt he needed something a little more conducive to the airwaves, so he became simply "The Beast."

Basically his younger days he was more hairy and it was all blue
