Cade and Murdoch are great at the announce table.
Best "extras" in recent history. Really makes me want to see where they go.
|
If only they can show that much personality in their matches.
|
If only they had a better entrance to, they have the worst theme music ever.
|
And a better tag team name. Seriously, the one thing that bugged me was last week (I think) Hearing Cade and Murdoch like 50 billion times.
|
they reminded me of the Outlaws tonight. I'm glad the WWE is finally pushing these two right. They've always worked well together and now the wwe is letting them have a personality on camera.

They had a stint on RAW where they did commentary during their matches. Not particularly great matches, but it was fun enough to make me care somewhat about them.
Lance Cade can go places. He was trained by Shawn Michaels, he can talk, he can move, he can fly, and the guy is built. Since he's debuted, I've been singing off occasionaly praises for the guy, so hopefully he gets places. Trevor Murdoch is pretty cool, too. People assume that just because he's got the old-school look, and he is presented as a brawler, he must suck. Not the case. Since his early matches in the WWE, he has shown off some decent flying skills, and he has worked a smart style into his matches. I doubt he will go too far, as he doesn't have "the look," but Murdoch could at least be a mid-carder with credibility. I don't know why they didn't bust out "TNT" as a name when these two man debuted. They used it on the indy scene, and in OVW. I guess it must be trademarked to someone. I also liked the little "Redneck Wrecking Crew" thing they had going on when they were feuding with DX. Now that their finisher is called "Hi-Lo", why not use "Sweet & Sour" as a name? Or would Larry Sweeney get pissed, and use his unparalleled power to crush Vince? |
There is a reason Harley Race always puts over Murdoch when he asks who he thinks could be the future if given the opportunity.

Personally, I'd love to see these guys go over to SmackDown!. I predict they will win the World Tag Team Championship from The Hardys on an edition of RAW in the near future, so once they've got those belts, trade them for Deuce & Domino. Don't ask me why, it just feels right. A feud with London & Kendrick over the World Tag Team Titles would be quite the bit of fun. |

I wouldn't mind Trevor Murdoch working a style similar to the Outlaws. Not the New Age Outlaws, mind you: The Texas Outlaws. (Dusty Rhodes and "Dirty" Dick Murdoch) Although Cowboy gimmicks rarely get over, give him and Cade someone to be the personal Wrecking Crew for (I'd even give this role to Orton.), it could work. In other words, Vastardikai is to the Redneck Wrecking Crew what Alienoid is to Londrick. |
I think they'd help out Edge if anyone right?

Whenever I hear house show reports, people always seem to say Trevor Murdoch is awesome and really funny.

I don't get why the WWE doesn't mention the pedigree of their wrestlers more often. I mean, I know that being trained by a wrestler doesn't make you as good as them by default, but it can explain styles, and get guys over via association. I mean, sometimes I get surprised by just who helped train who in the WWE: -Jamie Noble by Dean Malenko -Kenny Dykstra and Idol Stevens by Killer Kowalski -Lance Cade, Paul London and Brian Kendrick by Shawn Michaels -CM Punk by William Regal, Dave Taylor and Finlay (this one surprised me, but apparently Punk did take spend some time at their shared academy) -Trevor Murdoch by Harley Race I'm sure there are probably some other surprises I have missed. Fun fact: Shawn Michaels helped trained Tomko. |
