I keep hearing over and over about how these two actually dislike each other and have some sort of rift. Does anyone know what the deal is with this, or if it's just a longstanding rumor?? I have searched online, but haven't seen any story or tidbit about this.

So if you haven't seen any stories anywhere about it how did you hear about it? Do you know friends of theirs? lol

Anyway all I know is that they are both complete assholes

They party just like us, they fall in and our of love just like us, and they have friendships and relationships just like us. In other words if you ignore the materiality you're left with a bunch of people who're just as normal and boring as us commoners.

I keep hearing from people over and over who have went to see the movie and all that. They keep saying that they have some sort of rift or whatever, and yet everyone fails to go into detail about what they have read or whatever.

I personally don't care at all WTF it's about, I just want to know if it's true, since if it's not it allows me to correct their bullshit conversations.

I have honestly not heard anything about them two hating each other...they seemed to play it off well in the movie and any harsh scenes that were played off between them I just passed to the usual bad acting.

I don't know much about Tobey Maguire, other than he seems like a nice guy, but that's probably just because he used a quiet voice and plays the nerd in every movie I've seen him in. I suppose it is possible for a complete geek to be an asshole, especially when he has a lot of money and women who obsess over him just because he was in a movie. There's no other reason for it. The "What's so interesting about Paris Hilton?" theory can be applied in reverse to Tobey Maguire. What makes this dork more interesting than the adequately looking dorks which live right under your fucking noses?

I know Kirsten Dunst is a fucking retard, though. She apparently wants to have eight babies in the next Spider-Man film, like a spider would. Now, I was only really interesting in biology and shit as a little kid, but I'm pretty sure spiders may have eight legs, and eight eyes, but I think the relevance of the number eight stops there. Spiders have like a shitload of fucking babies, don't they?

She's also really arrogant. She projected some levels of warmth in the original movie, and throughout the second, if I recall, but she seems to think the franchise survives because of her. She thinks the movie will be fine if she has eight babies, and the corniness of the superhero story is played up further than it ever was in the comics, but she thinks if Sam Raimi replaces her in the next movie, it will automatically fail.

I just think she's a bit of a bitch, so Tobey probably finds it hard to pretend he's actually attracted to her dumb ass.

Yeah Dunst is awful.

You could safely say that about most actors. Or anyone living in Hollywood...or most of California for that matter.

In Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 (if I recall), she actually portrayed some kind of warmth. She was quite tolerable, and it was easy to see why Peter Parker would fall in love with her. In the third movie, though, she's just awful. I don't know if it is the screenplay or her, but there are only two moments that I've seen so far (I'm only about two-thirds through the movie) where she actually finds the right note to play.

Part of it may be because Bryce Dallas Howard is absolutely gorgeous in the movie. I refuse to watch Lady in the Water, which she is also in, but I hope she remains blonde and gets more work. She completely outshines Kirsten Dunst in the movie, and she probably has an ego ten times as small.

She looks terrible now too.
