Wait, they actually called it the Pounce!!!

I don't watch the show, so I'm not sure if they've called it like so on the air. I haven't heard anything to that effect.

However, on ECW.com...

:D

Skippord 05-09-2007 02:20 AM

Yeah they've been calling it the pounce for like 2 weeks

Corkscrewed 05-09-2007 02:37 AM

Oh. I was much more excited when I thought they hadn't.

Skippord 05-09-2007 02:45 AM

The Show Off 05-09-2007 03:05 AM

PERIOD.

KayfabeMan 05-09-2007 03:18 AM

WWE gets on the ball after they stop it from rolling.

KayfabeMan 05-09-2007 03:19 AM

That's all.

Mr. Nerfect 05-09-2007 04:50 AM

I'm hoping Joey Styles develops his own way of calling the move. Maybe he should bust out the "Catfight!" voice for it.

I may be alone in this, and he might already be doing it and I haven't been watching, but I demand Tazz start signing along to Cor Von's theme. The only fond memory I have of Ernest "The Cat" Miller's run in the WWE is when Tazz was singing "Somebody call my momma!" at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Hells yeah. :y:

PorkSoda 05-09-2007 09:45 AM

Can someone find me a video or an audio piece or something of Cor Von saying "PERIOD" or however he does it? Never heard it before.....

IC Champion 05-09-2007 11:41 AM

Wait a minute, Ernest "The Cat" Miller was in the WWE?

Theo Dious 05-09-2007 11:44 AM

For about five minutes, yes. Then he had to go call his momma and was never seen again.

Theo Dious 05-09-2007 11:44 AM

God, with some wrestlers the jokes write themselves.

Xero 05-09-2007 12:29 PM

It's not thunderous, it's just hippophants bowling.

Anyway back on topic: I'm surprised that people aren't bothered by him pinning CM Punk.

Theo Dious 05-09-2007 02:01 PM

It's not like that was ever a fantastic joke in the first place.

Corkscrewed 05-09-2007 02:46 PM

Attacking the vets. Nice going, Super V. :p

I know you're not being serious, but I'm going to address is anyway:

The reason people don't care that Marcus Cor Von pinned CM Punk, is because Cor Von as potential. When CM Punk lost to Hardcore Holly there was a lot of uproar because it was Punk's first one-on-one loss, and Holly is a piece of shit.

FUCK YES! Seriously, that was awesome. I was actually a little bummed out when The Cat was released so soon and suddenly.

It could work in getting the move over some more. Rhyno's Gore was/is totally awesome.... but Heyman screaming "GORE! GORE! GORE!" really made that move seem more amazing.
