I WANNA ROCK.....ROCK!
 I would gladly fork out some hefty MS points for those songs. |
Pfffft, fuck Microsoft. Even though I prefer the 360 Guitar, i'll be picking up the PS2 version of this. We know it will be horribly overpriced on XBL anyway.
|
Flock of Seagulls
|
The 360 guitar feels alot better to me...thats why im hoping for a 360 release..
Im gonna be pissed like crazy if they release it on the PS2 first...then after a month they decide to release it in miniature downloads on 360 |
Wait, so on the PS2, how do you d/l it? Do you have to pay or what?
|
Nah. It's coming out as an actual game Funky.
And apparently there will be 30 songs total. |

The Playstation 2 game will be an actual game that you can go out and buy...price is $40.... the downloading thing I was if they decided to release it for the 360...which there is no word yet.. Playstation 2 version has been confirmed though |
The 360 guitar is terrible. It's so uncomfortable and the point comes up just where your arm usually rests on the guitar. Don't know why anyone would prefer that over the old one.
|
songs I want for this game:
Lick It Up (KISS) Final Countdown (Europe) Boys of Summer (Don Henley) (yes, I'm lame) another Police song Bon Jovi Def Leppard Rush AC/DC Ozzy Journey Yes Maiden |

Yeah, I hate the 360 controller. It is so awkward, and I hate the buttons. You can't slide your fingers on and off of them as easy as with the PS2 guitar. They also 'click' when pushed, which I hate because it just throws off everything that I'm used to on the PS2 guitar.
|
I'll be happy if there's more than the mass of primarily hair metal I'm foreseeing. I'd like to see Queen and Metallica on here.
|

They didnt name the band but if its one of the big name ones fans have been talking about then it might finally be Master of Puppets from Metallica or Stairway.....but I doubt its either of the two... |

anyways, more suggestions:
Eliminator era ZZ TOP SRV GNR - Paradise City Motley Crue (Spilly needs to tell us which song would be best) U2 (totally cant believe I forgot...we need a fat Edge lick) Permanent Vacation era Aerosmith Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane JUDAS PRIEST Poison (dunno what song, but CC = :y: ) Cheap Trick - I Want You to Want Me (live from the Budokan) Dire Straits - Money for Nothing Don Felder - Never Surrender (an obscure pick from me, but awesome) Pat Benatar - Heartbreaker (Go ahead, make fun of me) I kinda wanted Hot Blooded by Foreigner...too bad it came out in 1978. :( |

its still a highly requested song...and honestly...as much as everyone has been begging for this song is anyone really gonna care if they put a song from the 70's in a game for 80's music |

Also, Final Countdown :y: |
They NEED some Crue on here. That will sell me.
I would suggest ... Kickstart My Heart, Live Wire, Looks That Kill, Too Fast For Love, Wild Side, Too Young To Fall In Love or Girls, Girls, Girls. Just some of their bigger hits out of the 80's. |

Rep for the reference. |
Just for the record, I HATE the 80s. with a passion.
|
Join the club. I had trouble coming up with TWO bands I wanted to see on here.
|
Im actually hoping for some Journey on this...
|
Van Fucking Halen.
|
The Who had a few decent songs in the 80s. I mean, no "Who Are You" or "My Generation," But "You Better, You Bet," "Emminence Front," and "The Quiet One" are all good tunes.
|
Considering Crüe and Van Halen both had songs on GHII, I wouldn't expect them to be on here. I'm pretty sure no artist has been used on GH twice as of yet. But we'll see, for they certainly are 80s.
|
MORE Van fucking Halen.
|
Quote:
Pretty sure War Pigs and Iron Man count. |
Ahh I don't have GHI and I've only played it occasionally, so I guess I missed that. My bad.
|
I need to beat Freebird!!!!!!!!!!
|
Yeah they need some Crue, Halen, Journey, Poison, GNR ...

I just found the new songs out earlier today on G4....I was really begging for 18 and Life.....
|
another suggestion:
Glenn Frey - Smuggler's Blues |
YESSSS! Poison! Skid Row! EXTREME PLAY WITH ME! Craziest solo ever.

Went and pre-ordered it today. I'm told July 2nd is the release date.
|
18 and Life is an odd choice for the Skid Row song
