When asked in a recent Byte This interview on WWE.com about wrestling websites, Kane stated “I think it’s exposed our business in ways that it never should have. I’m all for our fans feeling that they’re part of something. But, I think that what happens with the internet is that you have a certain group of fans that exclude everyone else and they try to become part of something that they’re not. I think most don’t appreciate what we do and think they can do it better.”

Most wrestlers don't have a well informed opinion on internet fans, which is why Kane's comments surprise me. He's supposedly big on computers and all that stuff.

Most of the wrestlers who trash the internet have one (or more) of the following factors:

--Ignorance

--Ego

The former is people who probably just hate internet fans, the latter is the people who only really hate them because they got their feelings hurt (Chris Jericho) or because they don't like being second guessed (I can't THHHink of a good example HHHere...).

It COULD be that Kane doesn't like the way he's represented online.

I've never really seen Kane get dissed on the internet though. Most people actually seem to find him quite entertaining because of his gimmick. Infact back in the summer when ratings went up a bit it was the internet fans who gave Kane all the credit.
