This belt does not get enough play. It's one of the coolest belt designs I've ever seen, and yet it got punked out by the Big Gold Belt. WTF. Someone just tell me, WTF?!

The big gold belt looks good on Edge, and I guess they didn't want the WCW name on their show all the time.

Nevermind the fact that it looks just like the Federation belt at the time...

I hate this belt, I think its terrible and below what the undisputed championship belt should have been.

Actually I hate most of the belts today...IC title sucks, the raw tag titles suck, spinner belt sucks, I like the big gold belt but I wish they didnt use it

Anyone else catch that they used mailing tape for the nameplate for Edge last night?

Yeah, I noticed the material of the nameplate and Edge's inscription on there didn't look like the normal material/font they used to engrave the WHC's nameplate...must've been a rushed job by VKM.

For those who haven't seen it yet, that's what the title's nameplate looks like presently...quite an eyesore if I do say so myself.

Yeah, it looks like this is one of those "I stole the belt and am pretending to be champion" angles that WCW did once a month.

It was really noticeable when it was at an angle, you could actually see that it was flat and had wrinkles in the tape/whatever they used.

So is it another sign that Edge is a transition champ? Just like him holding the spinner belt?

Edge is likely to hold it for a long while, probably through the summer.

It's more than likely because they didn't get the nameplate made yet.

Edge could hold the belt for a long time, and they will at least get him his own nameplate. I do think he could lost it to Mr. Kennedy when he returns in a few weeks, though. Batista at Judgment Day, Matt Hardy at One Night Stand, and then its up for grabs, in my opinion.

But yes, that WCW World Heavyweight Championship is fucking awesome.

WHen did the name plate come about? It hasn't always been there has it?

If you're talking about the WHC, they've had it since the WCW days at least.

This is my favourite. I think this doesn't exist now, instead its the spinner
