There you go. Nice, detailed, big cutouts of the Transformers from the new movie. What do you think?

I'm not sure if I really like the flame job on Optimus Prime. It makes him a bit hard to look at, with the conflicting colour and such. But it looks pretty sweet too. Bumblebee looks pretty cool, but the codpiece is highly unnecessary. The detail on Ironhide is ridiculous, I think he probably looks the coolest of the Autobots. Jazz looks okay too, but again, codpiece.

The Decepticons all look like boned-up, spiked-out versions of their old selves. Especially Megatron and Starscream. It's cool, but it's different.

Thoughts?

I saw a trailer at 28 Weeks Later today - honestly it looks shit.

Yeah I'm sorta picking up that vibe from a lot of people.

That Frenzy fellow looks rather interesting.

I really hope it isn't shit, but from what I've seen I'm not too hopeful.

Every trailer I've seen screams "shit movie", but I have hope.

I dunno, it's a Michael Bay flick about giant robots killing each other. At least from a pure popcorn standpoint, that seems tough to fuck up.

Everything I see about this movie makes me less and less interested.

Everytime I see a commercial for it or see a picture of the transformers I seem to die a little inside...

My first thought was "Where's the one with the tape-deck?"

The way the transformer's look should be of the least concern as far as how good the movie will be.

The Marine told a better story in its advertisements.

I have seriously never been more angry in my entire life.

I wouldn't have a problem, if they all looked more like Optimus Prime does in the pics, you know taking direct cues from the original cartoons but with a modern spin, but that thing they call Starscream looks nothing like the Starscream I know and love. If they didn't get the original voice, or even someone that sounds like Starscream I'm going to do something very bad.

Even Megatron looks nothing like his original self. :$ He is like Skeletor/General Grievous/The Shredder all combined. :(

He is a giant gun. He should be a giant gun in the film. End of story.

Which tape recorder guy? Soundwave or Blaster? Soundwave is purple and a decipticon while blaster is red and an autobot. Now a days they would have to be iPods. :(

I'll just say that it's a freaking movie that you have to see the shit in motion. Don't judge from stills. Also....Frenzy...that ain't you.

Also, they couldn't get the original voice of Starscream even if they wanted to. Chris Latta's dead last time I checked.
