What if Kurt Angle stayed in ECW?
 

Not sure what happened that caused him to leave. I think he went to SD! and won the title. Yeah fill me in here

If they made Kurt Angle the focal point of the new ECW, do you think it would've worked?

Dunno if it woulda "worked" but it would have been a lot better. Rob Van Dam and Angle were having some good matches. Plus you had constant appearances by Edge and Orton. Nice little rivalry going on.

If Kurt Angle was still in ECW, we wouldn't be seeing him.
Vince wanted Angle to take a year off to rest up from his various injurys, but Angle wanted out of his contract, so he wouldn't be getting paid for nothing, and Vince liked that so he agreed and didn't slap him with a "no compete clause."
How ever instead of being a man of his word Kurt signed a deal with TNA, where he will die.
I predict that will happen August 16th, 2007.

Just to fill you in...

He went from Raw to SD! to win the WHC, which he then lost to Mysterio at WM22. He was then drafted by Heyman at the beginning of ECW's relaunch.

I dunno if he'd still be on the roster, he'd most likley be injured. I don't understand how he hasn't been injured since going to TNA.

He is currently injured, but he's working through it, like Luke Moore did for 3 years until the operation was a necessity. August 16th is a ridiculous date for him to die! he can hold out till at least August 30th

Yeah I know he's had small injuries but I'm talking not being able to get out of the ring injuries. Whether than be serious (as in broken freakin neck) or deadly serious (as in death).

As said, Kurt is only not in WWE because he didn't want to relax.

He'd likely be out right now, until Vine forgot he was concerned, and then Agnle woul die.

Angle is not about to die. He might burn himself out, but he won't die.

If Angle had stayed with ECW, he would have won the ECW Title from RVD instead of Big Show. Then we probably would have seen something which resembled SmackDown! under Heyman, only with Brock Lesnar substituted with Rob Van Dam, and Chris Benoit's role being taken by CM Punk.

Right, the schism between WWE and Angle was over his schedule, but had he stayed, they would have totally relented and put the title on him?

If Kurt Angle stayed in ECW, I still probably wouldn't watch it.

I'll watch anything Kurt's in at least once...

...Which means I'm really with Critic on the matter.

The better question is what if Angle would have taken the advice to rest and get better.
