Corey's Wrestling Tapes: Quarterly Update

You guys have seen me mention this guy's tape business on here before. For those of you who haven't, he's got an awesome collection and at great prices. He now has DVD's too. Those who are interested in the old stuff, he's got everything including Raw, Nitro, Wrestling Challenge, NWA, Superstars, Saturday Night Season sets.

His rate for DVD's is $6 to fill a 4 hour DVD. That's with shipping included. Check out the new stuff.

He's got a 61 Vol Eddie Guerrero Career Comp

13 Vol Best of Chris Jericho

ECW Hardcore TV 1995 Season

NWA Season Sets: 85, 88, and 89

And a Million other things...

I just purchased the complete season of 1991 WWF Superstars.

Corey is still in business? I bought a best of Jericho in WCW tape from him once.

Does he do DVDs? I don't have a vcr anymore.

Holy shit...

Theo Dious 05-22-2007 11:11 AM

How has this guy not had the pants sued off him?

Xero 05-22-2007 11:12 AM

How in the hell is the current WHC half the disks of the full WWE Championship history?

Loose Cannon 05-22-2007 11:20 AM

Short Story:

Yes, he's still in business. The WWE DID take legal action against him a couple years back. He had to go under the radar for a bit and shut the site down. He stayed open through e-mail lists and a yahoo group.

He reopened the site a year or two back and if you look, there is a disclaimer saying none of the tapes are for sale.

Like I said, he has DVD's. $6 for 4 hours.

Theo Dious 05-22-2007 11:21 AM

Sooo... basically... he's just posting a list of things that he has... and if you email them he will sell them to you?

Loose Cannon 05-22-2007 11:30 AM

correct Sir. And he's a straight up guy. He won't try to scam you or anything. Just send him the money, you're list of what you want and he'll ship.

Damn, Loose Cannon. You oughtta check out crazymax trading forums. People have all kinds of old wwf stuff for trade, as well as about anything else you could want.

What's the quality like?

Loose Cannon 05-22-2007 03:27 PM

I don't know how it would be for DVD's, but he used to list Very Good, Good and Fair for all his tapes and what he listed was what you got. I don't see listings for the new tapes, so you might have to ask him.

Usually, Very Good-Good was the usual quality for VHS Tapes. But that's an 8 hour tape too. So a 4 hour DVD would probbaly be very good quality.

Xero 05-22-2007 03:31 PM

Depending on compression it's probably close to if not exactly the tape's quality.

thedamndest 05-23-2007 05:20 PM

Did this guy used to sell porn too? I remember buying porn like this way back in the day. It was "Where the Boys Aren't 7" which I highly recommend.

Loose Cannon 05-23-2007 05:24 PM

My family would leave me in a heartbeat. Probably while I was still watching the Hart Foundation comp.
