Is anybody else excited about the tag scene on Raw right now?
 

I am. This is the first time I haven't absolutely hated the Hardys (still hate Matt in singles, but he's good in the team, and Jeff is better than ever). Cade and Murdoch are stepping up big time. The World's Greatest Tag Team has always been good. I dunno if Nitro and Dykstra will be a permanent team, but they looked pretty good last night. Throw in those Highlander dorks and those loveable thugs Cryme Tyme, and we might actually have a title that means something!

Thoughts?

I am cautiously optmistic about it. I refuse to be excited about anything in wrestling till it sustains for a few weeks at least.

I thought the Hardys/Cade and Murdoch match was one of the best ones on Judgment Day.

I didn't bother to watch... but that seems entirely likely.

There were some pretty solid matches to contend with it, really. It was the longest I've seen Cade and Murdoch work, and they're pretty damn good.

If only Val Venis and Big Vis stepped up to Raw again

On WWE.com I said the world tag team title match was my favourite title match of the night.

Think I was backed up by like 3% of the other voters though. :(

Not really. Most of those tag teams have been around for a while, and most of them are just used for filler, randomly.

I think the injuries and insanely thin singles roster on RAW is finally forcing them to focus more on the Tag Teams. Of course this is a double edged sword...because as soon as a team gets majorly over, one of them will probably be forced into the singles scene.

And don't let WWE get wind that you think the Tag Team Division is entertaining, because they will fuck it up.

Cade and Murdoch are great right now. Probably more interested in them and the Hardys than any other angle right now.

They'll fuck it all up somehow.

I was really impressed with Cade & Murdoch at Backlash. Hope this feud with the Hardys keeps going.
