I just finished watching the second season today, and to anyone who hasnt seen this series I suggest you do so, you wont be dissappointed. It is one of the best written shows I have ever seen, and at the end of each episode I was left wanting to see more. It is basically the story of the End on the Roman Republic and the birth of the Roman Empire. It starts with Julius Caeser and his war with the senate Pompey and eventually ends with Octavian Caeser.

Awesome series. Wish it kept going, there's so much to tell.

Wish they had kept going, but it was of course their most expensive series ever so they couldn't afford to keep going. Very well done though. Loved it!

Yea I wish it would have continued, cost over 100 million to make but after you've seen it you'll know its worth it, HBO needs to market there shows better then they do. They had crazy good ratings and first and then they started to slip, they were always more then respectable.

I've found season 1 and 2 on demonoid - I'll download them next month.

Its only took me a day or 2 to dowload them for me

I'm just about at my d/l limit for this month so I'll wait until next month

I REALLY liked the first season, and the second was awesome as well, but it wasn't quite as good without ceasar.

I thought the First season was the best too, and Caeser was great, but the second season was almost just as awesome.

I watched the first episode of the second series the other night. I never watched the first series and i didn't really want to watch it the other night but ended up doing so anyway. I found it to be fucking fantastic. I am now going to work my way through the first series:y:

Yeah, so I got a couple friends hooked on this show now. Good stuff.

After series one I didn't think it could get any better - honestly Rome is the greatest series I have ever seen on TV, EVER.



Deadwood used to be my favourite show of all time, but it is now number two.

Other than that, Rome was pretty badass, though I only really got into it the second season.
