MVP
This guy has been hyped like hell all thanks to JBL. He has awfull moves and a stupid ring attire. He sucks like anything. He has awful mic skills, awful entenrance and a awful finisher. He is totally yuck!
|
Fuck you and every goddamn thing you stand for!!! MVP is the man! BALLIN'!
|
First it's Kendrick and London suck, and now you're saying MVP sucks. Are you even a wrestling fan, or just some retard?
|
It's reality people he is lame and not at all cool in any sense.
|
MVP IS THE FUCKIN MAN. BALLIN. By the way, Is Mr. Kennedy back yet :( :( :( :(
|
Clearly John Cena is the "BAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNN" one.
|
Come on, dude extreme? First London and Kendrick, now MVP? Do you have any taste at all?
His ring attire is meant to be ridiculous. It will be changing soon, especially with my senses predicting an impending push to credibility (which has really begun, really, so it is not so much as a prediction as a hope it continues). Look for him to start wearing short-tights like he did as Antonio Banks in his independent career, and for him to become more legitimately cool than a guy trying to be cool. MVP's moves are awesome, by the way. Don't be hating on the Live from the 305 (springboard shooting star press), Most Valuble Moonsault (split-legged moonsault), Malicious Intent (capoeira-style kick), Player Boot (running big boot in the corner), his swank belly-to-belly overhead suplex and, of course, the BALLIN' Elbow. He has been given a generic finisher by the WWE. So what? That is their fault, not MVP's. |
I love MVP so much. What's his theme song called?

The only problem with MVP is he sucks on the mic.
He NEEDS a manager! |

I would have totally agreed with this a few months back, but the guy has improved more rapidly than anyone I've ever seen (IMO). I thought he would be a total washout after he had a TV run for a few months. Now, though, the guy is exponentially better in the ring and above-average at worst on the mic. In a couple years he is going to be one of the biggest stars in the WWE.
And maybe I'm getting too far ahead of myself, BUT, now he isn't the next Rock or anything, BUT...I predict he will be THE biggest star in the WWE at some point and the closest thing we've had to The Rock since then. |
He is decent on the mic, you guys are all fags for saying other wise.
|
MVP is fine, though his finisher is ass. That's not his fault, though. It's been ass no matter who used it.

I'll admit, I wasn't that big on the guy at first, but he is slowly winning me over, and JBL working the booth for him is doing nothing but great things in my opinion.
|
Sorry m8, but Chris Benoit is not one to be doubted. HE saw something in MVP and is personally tutoring him. I liked MVP, but since his WRESTLING matches with Benoit, I'm sold on him.
I do think he'll be comign back with better ring attire soon. Wasn't there some shit about him not having a good enough body or he looekd fat. Which is remarkable considering you have Umaga and Murdoch on the roster, but still, guess it didn't suit his MVP gimmick so he became a Power Ranger instead. |

Silkk the Shocker is a good rapper.

I think it's a good song for MVP and I hope they keep him with that theme.

I love MVP, and will love him even more so when he gets a new finishing move.
Don't get me wrong, I love that move. I use it on all of my wrestling games for my personal CAW. But has there ever been anyone to get over with it? |

Only thing he has going for him is BALLIN'. Other than that, he's just another generic guy being put over by Beniot and Management.

He needs a business manager/sport agent slick shister type guy if he gets a manager.

I think he should have an entourage, too. |

That works. The ladies loooooove MVP.

I don't like MVP, but that's not to say that I hate him. I don't watch Smackdown as much, but the character is very slowly getting better and growing on me. This is his first real character on tv, I believe, so it's going to take some time for him to get really comfortable.
He hasn't been too bad though. It's just taking some time to figure what works and what doesn't. He seems pretty decent in the ring. I'm not too sure though. I've only seen a few of his matches. If he's supposed to be the highest paying superstar in Smackdown history, he should be damn good in the ring. Some sweet flashy moves (if he doesn't already have any) will help his character. If he's supposed to be the MVP of Smackdown, he should be pulling out some unique or surprising moves for the 1,2,3. |
MVP is Mr.Average. Though this program with Benoit has done wonders for him, I'm not so sure about him once he's away from some one who is going out of their way to make him look good.
|
I was thinking that too. He looks good against Benoit. How good will MVP look when he has to solely carry a match?
He had a great street fight match against Kane in London a few months ago. I loved that match. |
He's put on enjoyable bouts with Kane, Matt Hardy and Chris Benoit now. He's not being carried.
Kane Knight is right for a change, if he gets a manager, they should be more of a prop than a mouthpiece. MVP is not awful on the mic, and he may not be great, but he is solid and with time he will get more confident and used to articulating himself. That he can cut a promo after being winded in a match with Matt Hardy and it still comes off solid, shows that he's at least capable in the mic skills department. Give him a Don King-like manager (not an obvious parody, of course), Kristal as a hang-on, maybe move Brooke Adams over for the other arm of MVP, and sign his brother to a contract. Have someone called up from OVW to be his new whipping boy, as well. |
