Ron Killings?

I know he had been off TV in TNA for a while and there was talk of him asking to be released. Then, he started doing those stupid movie promos or whatever, but now (at least as far as I know) he has disappeared again.

Is he under TNA contract and just off TV? And what are they planning on doing with him/What should they do with him?

Is he a "free agent"?

Do you think he'll wind up back in the WWE? How would you use him in the WWE/How do you think he will be used in the WWE?

I'm full of questions.

Anyway, I know he's probably not going to be given a really serious role if he were to go to WWE. I'd stick him with Cryme Tyme and make a stable out of them. Could at least be funny and entertaining. I bet he could work some good matches with the likes of Nitro, Carlito, Dykstra, etc. Might open up the door for him to get in on the IC Title scene which would be about as high as he could climb. But still, it would be good, i think :y:

Last I heard he was releasing his CD....but that was months ago...

I wish he would give up on the music career :roll:

Ron Killings was amazing during the summer of 2002, when TNA first debuted. Then he was apart of 3 Live Crew and his career went downhill.

Only TNA would rather keep unhappy employee's that they don't utilize because it costs them money and lowers morale.

I just read somewhere that he just had knee surgery and won't be able to wrestle on TNA's version of Sunday Night Heat for a little while.

When they were only doing the weekly PPVs and nobody was actually SEEING them. People were mostly imagining how good they were.

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE champion John Cena and TNA star Ron Killings crossed paths at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina.

Cena apparently upset by comments made by Killings during an online interview, stared down Killings waiting for him to respond. Killings responded by staring right back. After a tense moment both men went there separate ways.

I personally like Killings. I posted the most recent set of Impact! tapings recently, and Killings appeared on Xplosion (their version of Heat), where he busted out a rap. They are still short one man for the King of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary, so it would not surprise me if they just put Killings in the match, again. I mean, they did that last time, didn't they?

The guy is a former two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, so he has some worth to his name. He was really misused by the WWE, and they did nothing with him once Road Dogg fucked up and was busted for drugs. I think he was recently teaming with Lance Hoyt, and with Hoyt teasing joining the Voodoo Kin Mafia, it would probably make sense to stick Ron Killings with them, as well. After all, Killings has past allegiances with all three men. Just give them a better name.

I remember when the WWE first trademarked the name "Cryme Tyme," and there were rumours that Killings was looking for a way out of the company, and that the WWE were interested in picking him up. I was suspecting that Killings may have debuted as a member of "Cryme Tyme." I even figured it could have been a new moniker for him: "Cryme Tyme" Ron Killings.

If he were to return to the WWE tomorrow, I could see him on either of the brands, as he is a pretty flexible performer. They'd probably stick him on ECW, and have him play a generic face role there.

When is WWE just going to cut the crap and trademark the letter Y.

The weekly PPVs were great because TNA had a lot going for them, at the time. Then Russo took over the books, made some stable called SEX, and everything TNA was building up to become was destroyed. I still cannot forgive TNA for putting Russo as AJ Styles' manager. Seriously, Russo standing next to Styles was a like a giant standin next to a midget. It made Styles look bad...made TNA look weak, imo.

FFS, TNA made Sonny Siaki worth watching when they ran weekly PPVs.

Funny that as soon as i posted this topic almost, a news story comes out about him and Cena's "confrontation" at an airport. I really wish they would have gotten into a fist fight or something and they would have gotten arrested and a huge public ordeal made about it. WWE should have come under public pressure to take disciplinary action on Cena, suspending him for 30 days and forcing him to drop the title. :y: I can always dream...
