Arrested Development

Has to be one of the most underrated shows ever, I thought it was halirous and one of the best comedys ever. It sad that it got cancelled, thought I wasnt surprised when it did with how FOX treated the show. I thought it was brilliantly written, and the charactors in the show are great, and amazingly portrayed. It was years ahead of its time, and using a single-camera made it even better.

Anybody else a fan of this show?

Skippord 05-31-2007 12:29 AM

Didnt really find it funny

St. Jimmy 05-31-2007 12:34 AM

I didn't watch it regularly but this was the period of time where I stopped watching television regularly and started going out. From what I saw, it was pretty good.

Pinnacle Charisma 05-31-2007 01:49 AM

By far the best american sitcom made in the last 10 years. Prehaps even ever

Avenger 05-31-2007 08:55 PM

It and Seinfeld are probably the two best comedy shows of all-time. Without a doubt. They are that good.

IC Champion 05-31-2007 09:02 PM

You are all awesome, finally people who know whats good.

toxic rooster 06-02-2007 10:38 AM

Yeah

The problem was, it never got ratings because Fox being the clueless tits that they are had no idea how to market it.

ridiculously funny. but def one of those shows you have to watch every episode in order. Otherwise you won't get it at all.

RP 06-02-2007 10:47 AM

I've been meaning to purchase the first season. I've only watched 3 whole shows ( on G4 channel ) and it was perhaps some of the best laughs i've had in quite sometime. Especially the surrogate father parts. I laughed my ass off when i first seen the surrogate father. The show was hilarious. I'm buying the first season this week probably.

Avenger 06-02-2007 01:33 PM

I've seen every episode like 4 times and I'm not usually some geek who watches something 4 times, but I am an AD geek.

Ive seen it twice, and its just as funny if not more so the second time, truley one of the greats.

Avenger 06-02-2007 04:38 PM

It actually gets better and better everytime.

IC Champion 06-02-2007 04:42 PM

If I didnt have to spread more rep, I'd be repping you all night long.

IC Champion 06-02-2007 05:07 PM

Michael: Do you even wanna be President?
GOB: No, but I'd like to be asked.

RP 06-04-2007 01:20 PM

George Sr.: Listen... Let him go. Let your son go.
Michael: I can't do that, Dad. He needs me.
George Sr.: Michael, you don't want to make the same mistake your mom made with Buster.
Michael: Yeah, boy. What happened there?
George Sr.: I really don't know. Maybe it was the eleven months he spent in the womb. The doctor said there were claw marks on the walls of her uterus. But he was her "miracle baby." And I-I was just too burnt out on raising you guys to care. So... he turned out a little soft, you know, a little doughy.
[Buster yawns next to him]
George Sr.: I don't know, maybe it was my fault. Maybe, uh, maybe I just ignored the guy.
[Buster finishes yawning although George Sr is ignoring him]
Buster: Wow. We're just blowing through nap time, aren't we?
Michael: Yeah, I got to let my son go.

toxic rooster 06-04-2007 01:53 PM

That is not how a chicken sounds. Chickens don't CLAP

toxic rooster 06-04-2007 01:57 PM

Yeah.

You pick up so much small shit from watching it again, guess it 'rewards the viewer' in that way

Just wait till you get back to those episodes after seeing the rest of them.

They will be funnier on at least 4 different levels.

Boomer 06-04-2007 02:44 PM

I'm pretty offended you made a new topic.

BTW, I had my first frozen banana two days ago.

IC Champion 06-04-2007 03:12 PM

Made a new one?
And the Bluth Banana really exists?

Boomer 06-04-2007 07:38 PM

Quite an accurate representation.

PapaGeorgio 06-04-2007 07:46 PM

Yeah, kind of want to do it again but this time go with cut offs entire time. I wore the cut-offs under some khakis, was a bitch to piss let me tell you that, and would pull down khakis when requested. Plan was to go to bathroom and come out in just cut offs, but alas I have no balls.

Avenger 06-06-2007 09:08 AM

LOL

toxic rooster 06-06-2007 10:38 AM

I'm sorta shocked that kind of shirt actually exists, and moreover that you own one.

IC Champion 06-06-2007 01:24 PM

Lol.

PapaGeorgio 06-06-2007 01:27 PM

Well I bought the shirt for the costume at a thrift store. As soon as I saw it was like, this is so Tobias.

D Mac 06-06-2007 03:12 PM

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

IC Champion 08-19-2007 06:14 PM

IC Champion 08-21-2007 12:29 PM

It does rule and is the most funniest show ever.

PapaGeorgio 08-21-2007 12:32 PM

I've made a huge mistake.

Avenger 08-27-2007 11:50 PM

No touching.
