I have watched this trailer a half dozen times tonight, that is how much I'm digging it.

The trailer I saw this morning looked like shit. Im not so sure about this one but then again I have been wrong in the past. Hopefully me having low expectations for the film will make it better to watch. It worked with Dead or Alive.

What? DoA was a pile of stinking shit. fucking awful in every way.

The cast seems perfect for this movie but I could be mistaken.

Yeah, you people can't be serious. That trailer is awful. Remember that bike race scene in Batman and Robin? Speed Racer looks like one, giant, movie-length version of THAT. Mixed with Fast and the Furious, which is not exactly a redeeming factor, either.

I have to say that looks like it will be the worst movie ever made or something strangley sexy. Might be one ofr the cinema only....I agree with Funky, it looks cheesy as fuck.

No, but they could ease up on the cheesy lines. Like I say though it could turn out to be quite sexy. The race bits looked cool...and i liked the way some of it actually came off exactly like a scene from a cartoon.we shall see.

Everyone on here was saying good things about it...then at work they started saying good things about...except for one guy...then I come home and see other people also see that this is gonna be shit....

and yes... Mr. Regal, I actually liked Dead or Alive...my expectations were so low when I saw that movie that I actually had a good time watching it. Reminded me of the streety fighter movie mixing in with Mortal Kombat....and yes...I liked both of those also.

It looks like it's supposed to be cheesy, the show was cheesy. It should be great. Like faux cheesy

Regardless of how good it will be, I'm excited to go see it. Used to watch the show all the time, and can't wait.

It's by the Wachowski brothers, which means Speed Racer will actually be Jesus in purgatory.

The only thing that makes me a little angry about the movie is this...

We placed the new Speed Racer movie toys on the shelf today and in the set is the Mach 6...no that is not a typo....Mach 6....

I am assuming that Speed wrecks the Mach 5 in this film and begins driving a newer updated version called the Mach 6.

Did this ever happen in the old school version? I didnt think it did because all I remember him driving is the Mach 5.
