What do yall think of Evanescence?
 

They seem really popular but I just dont care for them. I liked that "Bring me to life" song that they did but that was all.

Im wondering what people think of them because im going to the Family Values Tour with a group of people who are only there to see Evanescence. They dont care at all for either of the other bands on the card. They are only there for Evanescence. While I on the other hand am there for all the other bands but them.

What do yall think of them?

I know she's hot. That's about it.

Bring Me To Life would have been 10 times better without the gay ass "Nu Metal"" attempts.

Not gonna lie.. I like the newest CD more than Fallen. I didn't like it at first.. thought it was 'meh'.. now I love it though. I think it is more Amy Lee's style.

Also, I never got into Lacuna Coil. I remember years back listening to stuff by them, and I didn't really care for it. Nothing really stuck in my head. :-\

Dunno how they are now that they are no longer an underground group and may have done some new stuff.

The comparison between Evanesence and LC is pretty weak anyway. I only mentioned them to get a rise out of Wadding. :D

I liked a few of their songs, Going Under, My Immortal was good for what it was. I hated "Bring Me To Life", very annoying song to me. I think Amy Lee is a great singer but overall the band is nothing amazing.

I love Lacuna Coil.....but sadly everyone seems to think that they are a rip off of Evanescence....you know...even though LC was around first...

How anyone can compare Lacuna Coil with Evanesence is beyond me. They don't even play the same kind of music. Both are great in my opinion.

I'm not big on chick rock singers (excluding Cat Power) but Evenesance is still pretty terrible. Especially that duet song they did a long time ago with that other religious-numetal band.

Not the people I talk to...they all know who Evanescence is.....and have no clue who Lacuna Coil are. Then when they I tell them about Lacuna Coil they just believe that they are a rip off band trying to ride on the coat tails of Evanescence. Much like 98 degrees or any other boy band was after Nsync and Backstreet Boys made it big.

Shaggy's right. A lot of people say this. Just like a lot of people think Queen ripped off New Kids on the Block. Or Joan Jett covered Brittney Spears (Or Christina, whoever covered RnR).

Cloud Nine is about the best song they've done followed by Taking Over Me.
