I prefer the Mayor, myself. Something about his father knows best attitude, combined with his psychotic ambitions made him awesome.

Great villain to be sure, but a God acting like a pre-Madonna Hollywood blond is glorious.

Also: Caleb

Angel I guess. Dunno, didn't watch past the Mayor.

Gonna give it to Angelus, with The MAyor a very very close second. The Mayor was a great villain, but Angelus' arc was just overall more satisfying.

Caleb was pretty good as well.

All hail Angelus...the ultimate evil dude! My second pick would be adam...even though he himself sucked...but it was my fav season so...

Caleb was awesome just for being Nathan Fillion.

Speaking of Buffy, the first arc of the Season 8 comics is done... I'm interested in all of the little subplots and stuff, and where the season is going to go, but it all feels too big to me. Too S.H.I.E.L.D.ish.

I didn't like Angel til his heel turn. Angelus>Angel.

Ironically, though Wheedon was still behind the show Angel, I liked him a LOT more on Angel as a good guy than on Buffy as a good guy.

I concur. I pretty much hated all scenes with good Angel in Buffy, and didn't like the character much. Until he went evil.

But on his own show, I liked him as a good guy.

Angelus.

Wonder what it is.

I mean, I suppose his tone just didn't fit as well in Buffy, but when he was the focus of the show, the tone was worked around him. I'm just guessing, though. I'm not really sure what it is.

I just think he was really green as an actor and didn't find his niche for sometime later. dunno

He also kicks ass as Booth on Bones.

I've been meaning to check that out. I keep hearing good things and can just never get around to it.

That is 100% it. On Buffy, he was just this guy who played the overdramatic and ridiculous love interest.

On Angel, he was a badass immortal vampire seeking redemption and atonement.
