Royal Rumble Anthology DVDs...
 

Just watched the opening to the Royal Rumble 2000 (rented it) and noticed both ECW and WCW footage in the promo package for the Triple H/Cactus Jack match. Now, obviously this wasn't in the original broadcast, so I'm wondering if the other DVDs in the set (or even other sets/DVDs) have edits like this?

I understand why they blur things out, modify music and maybe even take a chant out here or there, but to go back and redo promo packages? That's pretty shitty.

Yeah, the Anthology sets have been edited so much. I stay away from them.

wow, interesting. I wish I can just buy the box pacaging and DVD cases and I'll just use my own DVD's of the Rumbles.

It was prolly easier for them to do that than to blur out more WWF logos.

Well I know the 1992 rumble, the one where Flair wins the WWE title and Sid was ROBBED, was the Coliseum Video version and seemed untouched.

Sid was the one who was stupid enough to turn his back on him.
