Lashley vs. Benoit at Wrestlemania 24? *Raw Spoilers*
 

This decision to move Chris Benoit to ECW was a bit odd because on Raw they had just hyped up a Benoit vs. Lashley feud for the ECW Title, and now that was suddenly all out the window. However, one source is saying that in the end, probably by mid-fall, Benoit is probably going to end up on Raw after all, so they can restart the feud at that point perhaps leading up to WrestleMania.

Was I the only one thinking Benoit was dead weighting Lashley on RAW? Especially when he went for the Powerbomb (maybe it was a gut wrench, I can't remember exactly) Lashley was clearly struggling.

Damn, imagine the promos. Maybe Heyman will be brought back to manage one of them, so the mic work would be fine.

I found there match boring for the most part, which surprised me, I dont know why.

Shouldnt Lashley be a heel anyway, isnt it easier for them to get over with out any mic skills?

That would require the WWE apply common sense to the situation.

Honestly, a match between the two would be all kinds of awesome. People often forget that Bobby Lashley is a damn fine wrestler who can go twenty minutes when he's in there with a guy like Benoit or Finlay. The WWE's superman crap has just made him an entity to despise. No doubt Lashley would go over Benoit, but I'd actually be hoping for Chris Benoit to humble Lashley. It would be the better thing for Bobby long-term, and it would help out Benoit, too.

But I think the real reason Chris Benoit would end up on RAW, and turning heel despite being much more likable and sympathetic in the feud with Bobby Lashley, is this: Triple H wants another top heel to <s>Pedigree</s> feud with.

He really should. He reminds me of those Mike Tyson parodies shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy trudge out, with the big black guy using a well-mannered voice and wearing suits. The guy should so be all "well, I am World Champion, and as World Champion I reserve the right not to comment on my beating of women and pushing them down stairs, and biting them. Thank you."

If the WWE were smart (and they're not), they'd have Bobby Lashley cut a promo on RAW where he gets all "emotional" that Vince was killed, and he never got the opportunity to thank him for signing him to a multi-million dollar contract, and he never wished this kind of harm upon him, and he wants to make the person who did this to Vince pay. Cue King Booker who comes out and tells "Robert" that as a wise man once said, Robert is clearly a fruit booty, and at Vengeance King Booker is going to beat his lowly ass like it was the 2006 King of the Ring Tournament...NOW CAN YOU DID THAT...PEASANTS!?!?!!?! *Kingaroonie*

Seems like Benoit on ECW is going to be like what Angle was originally going to do there, just minus the mic skills.

I really enjoyed their little match that they had on Raw. First match of Lashley's I've actually been interested in.
